A/N: Yes, there is a mature warning in the story but, this is a TW for self-harm, abuse, and ED.

Two years ago:

"I can't believe that girl can do whatever she wants just because her father is the mayor!" A frustrated Alya groaned.

"You have no idea how bad Chloe can get. Did you hear one of her new minions is going to start here?" Nino turned around to face the girls, "With the two and Sabrina, the class will be even more of a nightmare."

"Your name is Nino, right?" Alya asked.

"That's right, dudette. Nino by day, DJ by night."

The girls giggled, "We've gone to school with her since kindergarten. There's no chance of redemption." The bluenette sighed.

"Everyone, listen up! This is Adrien, he's new here and you all will treat him with respect." Chloe barked while walking into the classroom, her arm clung to a bit much taller than her.

"Is that the minion?" Nino asked.

"He's a cute-looking minion. He seems a bit familiar though..." A new best friend sighed.

"Gross." Marinette gaged.

Alya looked down at her feet and realized there was no backpack near her seat, "Shit, I left my bag in my locker. I'll be back." The girl quickly ran to Ms. Bustier before sprinting out the door.

"Chose an empty seat, Adrien." Their teacher smiled.

The blond analyzed the room but, his eye was quickly caught by a girl with midnight hair and bright bluebell eyes, "Is that seat taken?" Adrien points.

The whole classroom's eyes fell on the two staring at each other.

"You don't want to sit there, Adrien. The only people who sit here are losers." Chloe cackled.

"I wasn't asking you, Chlo. I was asking her."

Marinette rolled her eyes, "Alya's sitting here. You can sit next to Nino, though." She points.

Adrien flashed a small smile before sitting at the desk in front of Marinette. There was no warm welcome, though, people seemed to be judging Adrien before he could even say "Hello" to them.

"Marinette, can you go check on Alya? Class is about to start and she's been gone for a few minutes now." The teacher asked.

The bluenette nodded her head and went to search for her best friend who was already walking up the stairs back to their classroom.

"Everything good?" Marinette asked.

"Yeah. I smoked half a cig I had left in my backpack." Alya smiled.

"Yeah, I can tell."

They walked back into seeing the new boy with his hands on a piece of gum where Marinette was sitting.

"What the hell are you doing?" The girl shouted.

"Marinette!" Ms. Bustier cleared her throat.

"I was- I was trying to—" Adrien stuttered.

Marinette grabbed a tissue from his hand and put it on the chewed bubble gum, "It's obvious who your friends are."

"I- I didn't mean to, I swear!" Adrien blurted.

"I-I!" Marinette mocked him, "That means nothing!"

He wasn't able to reply, there was a loud crash outside the window and the whole class ran to see what was going on.
