"How much more stupid can you get? The guy that you're literally fighting against knows your biggest secret!" Plagg blurted with worry in his voice.

"Don't you think I fucking know that? God, Ladybug is going to kill me when she finds out."

The kwami sighed, "I don't want your miraculous to be taken away. This is the only secret you had to keep! If you weren't so obsessed with that girl then that would have never happened!"

"Don't you think I know that, Plagg?! It's not like I can just stop loving her! You know I've tried that a thousand times!"

"If Luka tells anyone, it's all over for you... and Ladybug. Every Ladybug needs a Chat Noir which means, bye-bye, Bugaboo, and bye-bye Princess. You know Marinette has a better relationship with Chat Noir than Adrien."

"This has nothing to do with her, Plagg! So shut the hell up, okay?!"

"This has everything to do with Marinette. Ever since Chat Noir started seeing her, you've been distracted while doing your job. People's lives are in your hands and all you can do is gawk over that girl!"

Adrien reached for his ring, "I renounce you, Plagg." He didn't really plan to keep it off for any longer than the night, for now, he just needed to think about what happened during the battle against the scarlet Akuma's.

"God, this is so bad."

The clock kept spinning and it got later in the night, Adrien wasn't able to fall asleep and was terrified. There was a good chance he would no longer be Chat Noir and the world would know about his secret identity. The model finally fell asleep around four a.m, only a few hours before he'd have to wake up for school and act as if nothing was wrong with him.

Adrien's pov/thoughts:

"So, you finally put your ring back one. How many times will you renounce me, Adrien?"

"That was the last time, I'm sorry, Plagg. I knew you were right in the situation and just needed to think alone."

"It's okay, kid. You just have to keep a close eye on Luka."

I knew Plagg was right but, I didn't want to admit how much Mari has changed me- changed my life. But, I feel as if Marinette is my purpose in life, there is no way I could fall out of love with her and it's something that scares me. The even worse thing is, what if she found out I was Chat Noir? The guy who's been flirting and trying to win her heart for over a year now, just being some guy in her class.

"Did Bunnyx visit you last night?" Plagg asked.

"No... Why?"

"I think it would be fine, then. She would have visited you if Luka knowing was going to mess anything up."

Is that really true? Is there a reason Luka had to find out about me? How could any of that add up when the guy literally hates both Adrien and Chat Noir. I thought he'd jump at the opportunity to spill my secret to anyone and everyone he knows. I guess Luka wasn't lying when he said he always told the truth.

"I guess you're right. I'm still going to be watching him."

"You should go check on Marinette. I'm sure she's not too happy that you went home last night." My kwami scoffed.

I didn't even say anything after the battle, I left as soon as repairs were done and flew home before the "pound it" I didn't walk Mari home, I didn't stay the night after, we haven't even talked since before we left Montparnasse tower.
