26|| Use it well

*Ringing*

"Hey, Bugaboo. How are you?" Chat Noir said in a singing voice.

"I'm good, Kitty. I have a question to ask before we meet up so I don't kill you right away." Ladybug answered.

"Okay, ask away." Her partner snickered.

"Why have you been looking at apartments for sale? As your hero self?"

"Are you stalking me?" Chat asked.

"No!" Ladybug blurted, "Whenever one of those sellers can't reach you, they call me! So why are you looking for a place as Chat Noir?!"

"For us... I mean, like a heroes cave! You know, a place we can make plans or hideout when something happens... I thought it was a good idea." He explained.

"It's... Have you found a place?" His partner stuttered.

"Y-Yes? I'm officially buying it tomorrow but, the place is mine... Ours." Chat Noir said.

"Patrol is canceled for the night. Send me the address, I'm on my way." After hanging up, Ladybug dropped into an alleyway and hid behind a dumpster, "Spots off."

"A place for just you and Chat Noir? That's incredible!" Tikki exclaimed.

"It's definitely something... Tikki, I need you to do that thing we talked about," Marinette had recently found out Tikki was the one who created every miraculous that ever existed. As everyone knows, when Kwami's use their powers without an owner, it backfires with some sort of catastrophe. Nobody knew of this until Tikki created the first miraculous, turtle and realized she was able to create many more. One day she'd spent all her time creating new miraculous and Kwami's but, something went wrong and she created the opposite of her, the power of ultimate destruction. Plagg flew out of the newly created ring and began destroying everything in sight until he collapses to the floor and smiled nicely he hit, the dinosaurs all flew into oblivion. After doing some work with the spellbook and the miracle box, Marinette and Tikki discovered a "number" that the Kwami could put on her owner's civilian phone to communicate with her teammates and not jeopardize revealing their identity.

"I understand. You two need to stick together now more than ever. These villains are getting strong, Marinette. You need to find a way to create those charms for people who haven't been akumatized so Shadow Moth doesn't get the chance to first!" Tikki demanded that ever since she was healed, she and the guardian had been doing anything they could to get rid of the current problem and solve those they have not yet faced.

"Tikki spots on!" After transforming back into Ladybug, she tracked down Chat Noir to a small, run-down apartment on the left bank of the seine. He was waiting on the rooftop with his staff in hand and a smile on his face.

"Hey, Bugaboo."

"Hey, Chat. Nice little neighborhood you chose." Ladybug giggled sarcastically.

"Nobody will ever suspect us to be here. I'll fix the place up myself and in a few weeks it'll be like the miracle hideout." Chat Noir looked over the city, "You know, Ladybug... You're the only one I have and I know I haven't been too helpful with your place as guardian. Maybe this place can help you." His smile was warm and honest, Chat Noir didn't have anyone he could speak to as his real self anymore besides Ladybug who was the first-ever person to meet that side.

"Thank you, Chat. You have been helpful, you've been my best supporter in all of this... I'd like to see the place."

Chat jumped down to the balcony and slid open the unlocked door, "I left it open for when you'd want to see it... Rena, Carapace, those guys, too."

They walked in, there were cobwebs and lint for days but, it was their place.

"It's kinda shit." Ladybug sighed, "But, it means a lot. Where did you get the money for this? More so, the money to fix it up?"

"Yeah, it is... I— I'm good with my savings." He lied, there was no way he could tell Ladybug he had the money because he was a famous fashion model or who his father was.

"Wow. I'll help in any way I can." His partner was awed as she looked around.

"I don't want you to. This is for the team but, more so for you. I want to do this for you, Ladybug." Chat Noir says.

She wanted to ask if his feelings returned. Chat had been calling her "Bugaboo" again which he hadn't done in over a year. He was starting to act like the Chat Noir he was around her when he was in love with his polka-dot partner.

"This is a perfect place to do experiments for my guardian things. Making our power-up food, training—" She begins to say.

"Training?" Chat questions, "What training?"

"I've been talking to Tikki and we can super-power up. Rena's illusions can be touchable without vanishing, Carapace can project his shelters without being in it himself and you—" Ladybug walked out from the bathroom and faced her partner, "You can use a mass cataclysm and literally shoot your power of destruction out of your hands at whatever you aim at!"

"And you? How can you power up more than you already have, Ladybug?" Chat asks.

"I want to make charms for people who haven't been akumatized yet. We'll also need to train in combat. Once Trixx and Wayzz get better, we'll have everyone training together."

"The only people who haven't been akumatized are just you and I... There aren't many people left in Paris who haven't fallen in Shadow Moth's clutches. W—Wait... Did you say "everyone"? As in anyone who's had a miraculous?"

"Yes. How many times were we almost beat because we can't fight as well as these villains?" Ladybug asks.

"A lot." Chat Noir scoffs.

"Exactly! We never know who we'll need when the time comes. Everyone!" His partner yells.

"Aspik? Queen Bee? What about those guys, their miraculous are being used by other people now."

"Not them. Everyone else, though."

"Multimouse?" Chat Noir asked with his cat ears turned down and a small frown on his face, "How is she going to power up?"

"She— She'll be able to multiply herself into life-sized people. And as many as she wants. Are you still stuck on her?" Ladybug sighs.

"I mean, I used to kinda watch over her... She likes to sit on her balcony and draw. Marinette's gonna be a great designer one day— She already is but... I stopped watching her maybe a week ago. Mari wants nothing to do with me anymore."

"You should just let her be, Chat. Isn't she dating Adrien Agreste?"

"Yes she fucking is but, that doesn't mean I can just fall out of love with her!" He yelled, Marinette was still in love with him but, not the real him.

"I get it... Let me know if I can help with anything here, okay? I need to get some things in order." The bug hero says.

"Alright. See you later, then."

"Bye, Chat."

Ladybug was almost in tears as she ran away, Chat Noir loved her so much but, it was reaching the point where she didn't want to be around him because all he would do is talk about Marinette.

*knocking*

"Ladybug? What's going on?" Alix asks frantically.

"I need your help with something."

"Sure. Come in." Her friend jerks her head in a motion to enter but, Ladybug stayed still, "What's going on?

Taking her yo-yo and pressing a button, her weapon opened and a bright light filled her hand, "Alix Kubdel, this is the miraculous of the bunny, it will grant you the power to move through time. Use it well."
