Hey guys, so as you all know, I've had pretty bad writers' block for a while now and the reason for that is because I was publishing about two or three chapters a day when this story started and I burned out for a while. I already know how the rest of the big bits of this book are going to go but, I need to get to a certain point for that to happen so this chapter is going to be a summary of what would be 4-5 chapters right after "Training" but, will pick up in normal book time in the next chapter. So, here is the summary:

After Ladybug and Chat Noir explains to the miracle team what their training is all about, everyone split into groups of two. Ladybug wanted to test her power's compatibility with other miraculous so, she teamed up with Ryuko leaving Chat Noir to find someone else to work with and charming his way into teaming up with Multimouse. The two had never really trained together before because yes, Ladybug and Chat Noir had sparred before but, never gone all-out against each other and, Marinette was in a different miraculous. Ladybug and Ryuko created a type of magical tornado on accident due to using their power simultaneously and aiming it at each other. On the other hand, after a few weeks of training together, Marinette had gotten muscle strong in that suit and Chat Noir was now able to throw his cataclysm and project it onto other things without having to touch it. Viperion and Bunnyx would train together but, they were all combat since there wasn't much else magic in their powers but, the two of them knew how to mess with people's minds and use their time well. Everyone else had improved in the last month of training with magic and combat. Everyone met at the secret base once a week and got some power-up macarons they would also talk about leads they would have on Shadow Moth but, there was nothing that turned up true yet. Bunnyx would open a portal to the holders home, get the miraculous back and do it all one by one every day of training so nobody found out who anyone was, she would also technically have to take Marinette home to not make anything look suspicious but, she would just quick transport Multimouse back to her timeline.
It's spring break, Alix and Marinette are getting dropped off at the airport by a taxi and Alix is asking Marinette why she'd been acting so weird lately. It seemed like Marinette was depressed but, she was mainly distant from Adrien and the start of their trip was very awkward. The couple sat next to each other on the plane but, Marinette slept almost the whole way to New York and didn't say much even she was awake. Luka, Alix, Adrien, and Marinette were going to New York for three days to check out Juilliard and NYU colleges but, the only person who was excited about the trip was Luka because he was already sure of his school decisions. Alix was there to tag along, Adrien had been offered a scholarship to Juilliard and so had Marinette with NYU but, neither of them knew if they wanted to leave Paris or if they even could.
Alix and Marinette shared a room at the hotel they booked but, Marinette acted like nothing was going on when Alix tried to question her changed behavior with Adrien. One night while they were there, Adrien and Luka met up at the hotel bar and tried talking about it too, it made no sense how Marinette only changed with Adrien in the last few weeks.
The second day of being there, they viewed Juilliard and Luka was like a kid in a candy store, full of excitement he wandered around but, Adrien didn't seem too interested. All he cared about at the moment was why his girlfriend suddenly acted so weird. That day they also viewed NYU but, Marinette's eyes lit up as she looked around and saw a glimpse of some of the classes she would take. She and Adrien went off that night and got dinner while she was still happy and talking to him that day, he didn't want to bring up her changes so he just went along with it until the next night when they were sitting in the airport,
"I didn't want to say anything, Mari but, what's going on? Did I do something or say something to make you not talk to me?" Adrien asks.
"No, I'm sorry I've just been distracted." She bluntly replied.
"Distracted? Can you tell me about it?" Adrien pushes.
Marinette looked up at him with watery eyes and a blank stare, "I can't talk about it right now."
"When can she talk about it? There's something that happened."
The plane ride back was completely silent. Alix tried to push an answer from Marinette again but still, no budge. At one point, Luka asked Adrien to trade him seats and Marinette just cried on his shoulder and told him things she wasn't ready to tell Adrien or hear the backlash from Alix. They returned to Paris and the band had a practice on Sunday night and this time when Adrien asked to talk to Marinette, she finally spoke to him.
"Can I walk you home?" Adrien asked.
"What about your car?" Marinette bit her nails and her response was mumbled.
"It's only a few blocks, I'll come back for it." He insisted.
"Okay."
They walked off the barge and Luka seemed sad as he saw them walk off together, he knew what was going to happen.
"I need to ask you something, Marinette... And I need you to please be honest with me." Adrien stopped walking as they approached the Dupain-Cheng Bakery.
"I know what you're going to ask and, Adrien I think you're a great person and you're a great boyfriend too but, I... I can't be with you anymore ." She looked up with teary eyes and her fist was shaking.
"I know. I knew it was coming and, it's okay. You don't have to explain anything now, I just want to make sure we can stay friends." He softly smiled.
"I want you to be my best friend and I think that's just what I need you to be right now." Marinette sobbed.
Adrien hugged her and tried the best he could not cry to, "I'll be your best friend, Marinette."
