Chapt. 8: A 4 Man Squad?

"So you're a cat and a human who's been living in the forest for who knows how long. And whenever you use too much of your power you turn into cat." 

"That basically sums it up. Yeah." Yuuki nods his head as he was still in his cat form and he was drinking out of a bowl of milk that I gave him. 

I decided to take Yuuki home with me since he had nowhere else to go or sleep for the night. He doesn't even have a home from what he's told me. But seeing how we both came from the forest, this is the least I could do. 

"Got any other abilites that I should know about, or is screeching the only thing you got?" I questioned Yuuki. 

"I can also run really fast." He answered. 

"Inhuman speed?" 

"Yep. Is fire all you can do?" 

"Uh-huh." I nodded. "Well, actually I can do a Shadow Clone Jutsu where I can make a perfect copy of myself." 

"That's cool." 

"I guess." I shrug and stretched my arms above me. "Well, I gotta go. I have to go to the academy." I stood up from the floor and yawned. 

"Academy?" 

"Yeah. Today's orientation. If I don't show up then somebody is going to come and get me. It's a whole thing." 

"Can I come with you??" 

"Sure. If you want to. By the way, when are you going to turn back to your usual self?"  

"When my power is fully restored. But that won't be until possibly late this afternoon." Yuuki tells me this as he hops onto my shoulders. 

"All right." I nodded my head and walked out of apartment, and went to the academy. I took my seat and waited for class to begin. 

"Hey, Mokou!" I heard Naruto's voice from across the room. He ran over to me with a big grin on his face. 

"Hey, Naruto." I give him a light smile. 

"Notice anything?" He asked me while he snickered before pointing to his headband. 

"You graduated? I thought Iruka and Mizuki didn't let you because you failed the Copy Cat Jutsu." 

"You should have seen what happened last night!" He snickered again. "But anyway, now that I'm ninja you and I are going to be going on missions together! Isn't that great!?" 

"I guess so." I nodded. 

"Hey, when did you get a cat?" He notices Yuuki on my shoulders.
