Chapt. 9: Getting To Know Each Other

After lunch I went back to the classroom. Other students have already met with their sensei's and left. The only ones left in the classroom was me, Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke. 

"Your teacher is taking a long time, aren't they?" Yuuki states as he stretched his body out on the desk I'm sitting in. 

"I know. How much longer are you going to be a cat? It's pass noon." 

"I could turn back now but I don't want to freak your teammates out when a cat suddenly turns human." 

"Good point. Although I don't take you as the risk of exposure type." I shrug my shoulders and watch Naruto complain about our sensei being late before he stuck an erase between the slide doors. 

"Hey! Naruto what you are doing?! " Sakura shouts to the top of her lungs. 

"That's what he gets for being late! Serves him right!" 

"We're going to get in trouble because of you! Honestly Naruto, you can be a mess sometimes." Sakura sighs, placing her hands on her hips. 

'So annoying.' I thought. 

"Our Sensei is Jounin. Do you really think he's going to fall for a trick like that?" Sasuke muttered. 

"Yeah, Sasuke's right!" Sakura agreed with a blush on her face as her hands were still on her hips. Why do I get the feeling that deep down she likes this kind of stuff? 

"A bunch of children..." Yuuki muttered n annoyance. 

"That's because all are children. We just don't know how to communicate as a team. After all, this is a squad." I whispered back to him. "Looks like they're here." I said when I heard footsteps coming toward the slide doors. 

When the slide door opened, the eraser fell on top of our sensei's head. Naruto bursts out laughing while Sakura was apologizing, and Sasuke looked unimpressed. 

Our sensei had gray hair, a headband covering one of his eyes, and wore a jounin vest. I feel like I've seen him somewhere before.  I recognize him from somewhere. 

The Jounin picked up the eraser and closed his eyes in thought as he said, "Hmm... My first impression of this group...is you're all a bunch of idiots." He says, having us sulk. But I glare at him. 

"Who are you calling an idiot?" I growled a bit. 

"Mokou. Good to see you're safe and sound." He tells me, causing me to blink. Wait. Now I remember him. 

"Oh. You're that Jounin I ran into the other night. When I was kidnapped." I pointed to him as I recalled. 

"Good memory. I just happen to be there at the right place at the right time. I hope you're feeling well."
