Chapt. 10: The Bell Test

Early  morning I got up and ready to go to the training grounds where I'm suppose to meet my teammates. I know Kakashi told us that we aren't suppose to eat breakfast, but I went and ate a small snack anyway. 

Yuuki was still asleep, so I left him a note on the coffee table, telling him that I was at the training grounds with the team and sensei. 

I was the first one to arrive and soon after a little while Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura arrived. We waited until the sun was up, waiting for Kakashi. 

"Hey guys. Ready to get started?" He asks, finally showing up. 

"Hey you're late!" Sakura and Naruto shouted at him. 

"Yeah, sorry. A black cat crossed my path so I had to take the long way here." 

'That's a lie.' I thought to myself before sighing. 

"Anyway, ready to get started?" Kakashi walked over to the one of the wooden post and set a clock on it before starting the timer. "This clock is set to noon. And your objective is try to get these bells from me." 

Kakashi held up two bells as they chimed together. 

"If you don't get these bells before noon, you fail the test. You are allowed to use any weapons." He explained the rules. 

"But Sensei! There are 2 bells and 4 of us! Does that mean 3 of us will fail and the other 3 will pass?" Sakura questioned. 

"That's the point of this exercise." Was all he said. "Now then. Are you ready?" He questioned and we all got into position. "Start!" 

We all went off into different directions to hide from Kakashi. As for me, I went deep into the forest to try and hide. I need time to think. 

I stopped in an isolated spot in the forest and sat down to think about this whole exercise. I think I can get the bells myself with just my flames and techquies. But then everyone else would fail, which I don't have a problem. 

"How am I suppose to get those bells if only 2 of us will fail and 2 of us will pass? This is going to be harder than I thought." I sigh to myself while growling in irritation. 

I heard rustling in the bushes, causing me to snap my head in the direction where I heard it. The moment I turned my heard, a hand was clamped over my mouth, pulling me into the bushes. 

I struggled with all my might while growling with rage until I heard, "Mokou, it's me. Calm down. It's Yuuki." 

"Mmphf?!" I muffled while turning my head to look at him. It really was Yuuki. I got myself out of his head and glared at him. "What the hell!? I should have killed you! What are you doing here?!" 

"I came to see you." He said with a dull expression. "I got your note so I decided to come with you in this training thing you have going on."
