I will never forget my sister. She and I grew up together. After I escaped I never saw her again. Where'd I escape from? Well there's this place called "Hawkins Lab." Don't be fooled, It may seem like your normal evil, sciencey, government place but to me it was the place on this Earth I was scared of most. You see, they kidnap children and test on them. They are not normal kids, they have superpowers.
"Good morning 11, good morning 12." Papa says as he comes into me and my sisters prison of a bedroom. I sit up in my bed, knees to my chest wondering what kind of tests they will do today. I look to 11's bed. Above it is a drawing of her, Papa, and I. On both of our beds is a stuffed tiger. "I want you girls to try something new today. To let's say explore things mankind has never done before." Papa says.
He leads us to a room. Inside are two tanks. Around us are many scary people. "Don't worry, they are friends." I look at Papa at the word friends in confusion but just shake it off. "You both are going into a tank. Eleven I want you to find this. Twelve I want you to describe what your sister is seeing." Papa hands Eleven a drawing. I nod my head knowing what happens if we don't do what we are told. The scary people put oxygen tank helmets over me and Eleven's heads. I look to Eleven with fear in my eyes. She looked scared too. I close my eyes and focus on what Eleven is seeing.
"Here." I say going in her mind. She says. "Yes." She then walks forward. There is something in the distance. Eleven goes up to it. She touches it's sliming skin. "Bad." I say panicking. The creature turns around and it screams at Eleven. Suddenly I get kicked out of Eleven's head. I start crying from the scary creature when I am pulled out of the water. I hear Eleven screaming. My eyes widen as I see the walls start to open.
"Y/N! Y/N wake up! We're gonna be late." Steve, my brother says shaking me awake. I grumble.
"..Fine..." I say rolling onto the floor.
"Tommy and Carol are gonna kill me!"
"I'm getting up incase you didn't notice!" I snap back.
"Okay be ready." I roll my eyes and go over to my dresser and pull out this outfit:

I style my long hair into a pony. I grab my backpack and head to the kitchen.
"Took you long enough." Steve says.
"Whatever, i'm going now." I grab a apple and walk outside. I grab my bike and pedal to school.

"That's weird. I don't see him." Mike says getting off his bike.
"I'm telling you his mom's right. He probably just went to class early again." Lucas says shrugging.
"Yeah, he's always paranoid Gursky's gonna give him another pop quiz." Dustin laughs. I sigh.
"Step right up, ladies and gentlemen." The school bully Troy walks towards us. I raise my eyebrows. No one in school messes with me because I mean my big brother is Steve Harrington, plus i'm the only girl around here who's not afraid of getting in a fight. "Step right up and get your tickets to the freak show." I bottle up my anger. "Who do you think would make more money in a freak show?" I tilt my head to the side giving Troy and James a death stare. Troy ignores me. "Midnight, Frogface, or Toothless?" He punches them in the chest as he says their names.
