A/N: Sorry for the late chapter I was really busy yesterday! I bike to Max's house so that we could hang out. We had grown really close over the past year. "Hi Max!" I say as I arrive to her house. She is outside skating. "Hey Y/N." She greets me while trying to do a flip on her skateboard. She doesn't land the jump but instead the skateboard slides from underneath her feet. We both go to grab it when someone else picks it up. It was El. "Hi." She says handing Max her skateboard. "Hi?" "Hey, El." "Can we talk?" El asks us. ---- "And then he said he-he missed me. And then he just hung up." Eleven explains to us. "Mikes a piece of shit." Max says. "What?" El asks. "Mike doesn't have jack shit to do today. And his Nana obviously isn't sick." "I bet Lucas and him are playing Atari right now." I add. "But friends don't lie." El says. "Yea well boyfriends lie. All the time." Max widens her eyes. "I mean besides Will, you got lucky on that one y/n." Max sits down beside El and I. "You're going to stop calling him. You're going to ignore his calls. As far as your concerned he doesn't exist." "Doesn't exist?" "He treated you like garbage!" I say. "You're gonna treat him like garbage. Give him a taste of his own medicine." Max grins. "Give him the medicine." "Mm-hmm and if he doesn't fix this.." "If he doesn't explain himself." I add. "Dump his ass." Max finishes. "Come on." Max pulls us up. "Where are we going?" I ask. "To have some fun. There's more to life than stupid boys, you know." Max answers. ---- We get off the bus and arrive at the mall. "So what do you think?" Max asks. Eleven stares at the crowd of people. "Hey what's wrong?" "Too many people. Against the rules." Eleven answers. "Seriously? You and Y/N have superpowers. What's the worst that could happen?" Max says. "El. It's gonna be fine!" I reassure. El nods slowly. We run into the mall. "So what should we do first?" Max asks. El stares at her. "She's never been shopping before." I smile. "Then we will have to try everything!" Max smiles. "Oo come on!" She grabs our arms and runs to the Gap. El looks around in awe. "What do you think?" I ask. "Pretty." She answers and then stops in front of a blue shirt with stripes in it. "Do you like that?" Max asks. "How do I know..what I like?" "You just try things on until you find something that feels like you." Max explains. "Like..me?" "Not Mike, not Hopper, not me. You." I smile. El smiles as well. Eleven tries on a bunch of outfits. Max buys a pair of red sunglasses, El buys a few outfits one being a black dress with shapes on it, and I buy a bucket hat:

[If you like it.] We run inside a photography place and try on fun clothes. "That's it girls. Okay, here we go! Wardrobe change please! Wardrobe change!" The fun photographer says waving us to the dressing rooms. "Shake it out! Shake it out for me!" After taking photos we go to get shoes. El tries on a pair of heels but ends up falling over. Stacy, the girl who rejected Dustin at the snowball last year and her friends roll their eyes. "Let's get payback." I whisper. We all sneak up on their group as they stand beside Orange Julius. "3..2..1!" I whisper as El and I blow up their drinks. I mind control Stacy pour some on the boy they were talking to as well. I high-five El and Max as we laugh. "Come on! See what I tell you? There's more to life than stupid boys." Max laughs as we run away. We walk into Scoops Ahoy. Steve scoops our ice creams but Robin gets his attention. "We got our first sentence." I hear her say to him. After a moment Steve turns back to us. "Okay here you go, you got a strawberry, a chocolate chip cookie dough, and vanilla with sprinkles with extra whip cream." Chocolate chip cookie dough would forever be my favorite. This is because it was mostly my diet once Will and Mike had found me on the edge of the woods and I hid in Will's shed. "Thanks." We all say. "Say hi to Robin for me. Oh and for Erica." I hand him a dollar. Erica kept asking for samples and it would be easier. "Okay I will-Wait a second. Are you even allowed to be here?" Steve asks us looking at Eleven. We all giggle and run to the outside of the mall. "Wanna trade?" Max asks us. El hands Max her ice cream. No way was I giving mine up. Then I hear voices to my right. "Oh, you've gotta be shitting me." Max says as she looks at Lucas, and Mike. Will was next to them to. "Isn't this a nice surprise." Max sarcasticly says as we walk up to them. I slightly wave to Will, who waves back. "What are you doing here?" Mike asks El. "Shopping." El states. "This is her new style." Max smirks. "What do think?" I ask. "What's wrong with you?" Mike grumbles at Max and I. "You know she's not allowed to be here." "What is she your little pet?" Max comments. "Yeah, am I your pet?" El questions. "What? No!" "Then why do you treat me like garbage?" "What?!" "You said Nana was sick." "She is! She is sick." Mike says. I roll my eyes. "Yea, sick-she's super sick." Lucas tries to support Mike. "That's why were here actually." "Yeah, we're shopping. Not for us, but for her, for Nana. Also we're here to get a gift for you. Just we couldn't find anything that suited you and I only have $3.50 cents so it's hard." "Super hard. It-it's expensive." Lucas adds. "You lie. Why do you lie?" El asks. Mike stutters for a moment. El looks behind her as the bus pulls in. "I dump your ass." She says. I giggle and walk to the bus. "Wow El!" I say as we sit down. ---- Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter!
