Thirteen

Hailey smiled as she was looking around for her supplies. She was glad to be by herself as her sister drove her crazy over this faker, as she likes to point out, Gilderoy Lockhart. Something about him gave her bad feelings and what some of the wizards and witches she has spoken to told her how he was. He's only famous because of his book.

The sound of Hagrid and Harry caught her attention made her smile. "Harry?"

Harry looked and saw a slightly different Hailey. She changed some over the summer. "Hailey?"

"I was so worried when you didn't write me back." She said hugging him not seeing Ginny Weasley watching them. "What happened?"

"I'll explain later, I promise."

Hailey nodded as the two walked to the bookstore hand in hand. Hermione found her sister and Harry, but smirked as she saw the two holding hands. They stood in line as they saw a lot of people here. "Why are they here for the..."

"Don't you dare finish that sentence."

"Faker." Hailey said making Hermione roll her eyes.

They saw him making her glare. "It can't be." Hailey looked at Harry as he was pulled away from her.

The two shared a look as a picture was taken till he walked back to her and grabbed her hand. They walked away as everyone got in a line. "That was unsuspected." Hailey says.

"I bet you liked that, didn't you, Potter."

"And the weasel appears." She mumbled. "Jealous much, Malfoy."

"I see Potter has got himself a girlfriend." Malfoy says as he saw them holding hands.

Before any one could say a word, Hailey saw Lucius walk in, but he had this man with him that looked evil making her grip on Harry's hand tight. After he was done talking he looked at her as did Ron and Hermione. "What did you see?"

"He had someone evil with him. I'm guessing it was he's father." She said as she watched Harry give Ginny his books and looked at Hailey. "Do I have to get my book signed."

"I'll have it done." Hermione said. "Ron can help."

Hailey handed it over, but stopped as she saw a book she didn't remember getting. She quickly hid it in her bag and walked away with Harry. "Hailey, are you okay?" He asked her.

"I think this year is going to be just like last year. We know he is back and he won't stop at nothing till he has the wizard world in the palm of his hand."

"Hailey, we got this." He tells her. "You, me, Hermione, and Ron. We're a team and all four of us will fight together. Lets focus on now as 12 year olds and enjoy some of the year till we get a sign that danger is coming."

Hailey nodded. She still had this feeling that this year won't be as smooth as she thought.
