Twenty eight

Hailey and Hermione were late for the first day of class. "I can't believe that we are late." She says as they walked into their first class. "I see the boys."

Hermione grabbed her sister as they went to them. Hailey sat beside Harry as Hermione got between them. Harry looked at Hailey as she smiled. Professor Trelawney was explaining the subject for today. Harry took her hand causing her to look at him. One by one, Trelawney walked around looking at the cups as someone read the chapter out loud.

Hailey watched as she picked up Harry's causing her to scream out. "What?" Hailey asked as she went to her aide. "What did you see?"

"Death. He has the grim ripper." She says looking at Hailey. "And so do you, my child."

"Me? Why would I have..."

"Because of how close you two are." She tells the two. "The bond you have has doomed the other."

Hailey looked at him as this was something they never thought would happen. Going back to her seat, Harry put his arm around her as he knew she was confused as well as he was.

Going to their next class, Hailey was excited as she was going to her favorite teacher's class. Hagrid. It's his first year and Harry, Hermione and Ron were with her. They needed to cheer him on. Harry walked with his hand in Hailey's. "I hope this goes good for him."

"Me too." Hermione replies.

Hailey looked at Harry as they continued down to the hut. Hermione tried her best not to laugh at her twin, but she will tease later. They came to a stop causing Hailey to wave at Hagrid. "This way." He tells them.

"What are we learning about?"

"You'll see, Hailey."

She nodded as they followed Hagrid. Harry looked at Hailey as he handed her book over. Hagrid was telling them how to use the book and turn to the chapter. Stroking the spine of the book, Hailey smiled as she heard the book purr.

Opening the book, Hailey went to the page just to hear Draco. She looked at him glaring. "Why don't you go "oooo" to you father since you always cry for daddy when things don't go your way."

"Why you filthy..."

Hailey raised her book ready to hit him, but Harry grabbed her. "Shut up, Malfoy."

"Awww. Does the Mudblood have to have Pottah to protect her?"

"Why you..."

Hermione covered her sister's mouth knowing that Hailey was going to snap. Harry glared as he turned Hailey around as they saw Hagrid with a creature. Hailey was amazed by it. She moved Hermione's hand. "Meet Buckbeak."

"Can I keep him?" Hailey asked.

"No." Hermione tells her. "We don't know what it is."

Hailey pouted till she heard that two people get to ride him. The blonde Granger raised her hand. "Thank you, Hailey. Anyone else?" The rest stepped back causing Harry to look behind him. "Harry."

"You have me."

Harry nodded as him and Hailey slowly made their way to Buckbeak. They followed Hagrid's instructions before stopping. Hailey knew Harry was keeping her safe and that made her feel good. When they finally got to pet him, Hagrid said something that caused the two to look at him. "You two get to ride him."

"Hagrid say what." Hailey says as she was placed on Buckbeak with Harry in front of her.

With one good smack, Buckbeak was off with Hailey holding onto Harry. The two screamed, but Hailey did see something before disappearing into the sky. She saw the view and smiled. Harry looked over his shoulder at the girl and smiled. He released his grip and held his arms out, shouting in joy. Hailey laughed as she held on to him. "This is amazing!"

"It is!" Harry says. "I'm glad it's with you!"

"I'm glad it's with you too."
