Thirty five

Harry and Hailey listened to Hermione and Ron argue over Crookshank and Scrabbers. "Hailey, after we get done speaking to Hagrid, we need to talk." He tells her. "It's nothing bad. It's something you should know."

Hailey nodded as they continued making their way to Hagrid. Harry looked at the blonde as she took his hand in hers as they continued their way to the lake. She stopped as she didn't want to hear her sister and friend fight. "Harry, what did you really want to talk about?"

"I like you more than a friend."

"Really?" She asked him with a blush appearing on her face. "I like you more than a friend."

Harry smiled as he looked at their hands. "Does that mean we can be together instead of friends?"

The blonde smiled as she nodded. They heard Hermione calling for them causing them to run hand in hand after them. Hailey couldn't believe that her and Harry were now dating. Which made it more exciting as she has to tell her sister first.

After visiting Hagrid, Hailey looked at her sister as they were in their room. "Hermione?"

"What?"

"I'm dating Harry."

Hermione raised up faster than anything and ran to her twins bed. "What?" She asked. "When and where the bloody hell was I?"

"Before we visited Hagrid and you were too busy fighting with your husband." She tells her. "I wanted to tell you earlier, which I know he didn't tell Ron, so don't tell him."

"I won't. This is amazing." She says. "What are you planning to do before going to sleep?"

"The usual. Read."

Hermione nodded as she went to her bed and laid down. Hailey grabbed her book and made her way downstairs to the fireplace to read a little bit before going to bed. She made her way down when she saw the door open. "Harry?" She whispered as the door shut and the cloak came off. "Why are you out of bed?"

"I should be asking you that..." seeing the book he knew. "Never mind."

"Harry, is something bothering you?"

Harry walked over to her and walked her over to the couch. He started telling her about the map he was looking at earlier. She listened as she couldn't believe that he went after Peter. "Harry, do you not know that he could have killed you. We don't know why he is apparently alive, but I'm worried." She tells him. "I have a very bad feeling that we are closer to finding out the truth."

"I know and I'm scared." He says moving her hair behind her ear. "At the same time, I have you to protect."

Hailey smiled as she kissed him. Harry smiled into the kiss as it was different this time. They pulled back looking at one another before reconnecting. They didn't know that Ginny was watching them upset that will never be her. She should have known that it will always be Hailey Granger. Harry was in love with her from day one.

Moving back, Harry stood up causing Hailey to take his hand as they started dancing in front of the fireplace together. Not thinking about the situation they were in as they just wanted to focus on them.
