Granger Danger

Five

It was game day, but Hailey was worried about Harry. He wasn't eating and she saw James and Lily looking at their son worriedly. She sighed and looked at Harry. "Harry, please don't be nervous." She said. "I know you got this."

"I don't know if I should play today." Harry said.

Hailey hugged him as Hermione placed a book down. "This might help." She said making the two look.

"Harry, eat." Ron said.

"Ron's right. You need your strength, especially for today." Hermione said.

Hailey saw Snape leaping over to them. "Good luck today, Potter. Then again, now that you've proven yourself against a troll, a little game of Quidditch should be easy work for you...even if it is against Slytherin."

"Ass." She mumbled as Hermione hit her sister. "It's true."

"That explains the blood."

"Blood?" The twins say in unison.

"Listen, last night, I'm guessing Snape let the troll in as a diversion so he could try and get past that 3 headed dog. But, he got himself bitten, that's why he's limping."

"But why would anyone go near that dog?"

"The day I was at Gringotts, Hagrid took something out of one of the vaults. He said it was Hogwarts' business, very secret."

"So you're saying..." Hailey trailed off knowing where this was going.

"That's what the dog's guarding. That's what Snape wants." Harry tells them as they heard a screech.

Hailey saw Hedwig carrying a big package. "A bit early for mail, isn't it."

"I think so." Hailey replies.

"But I-I never get mail." Harry said.

"Let's open it."

They open it. "It's a broomstick!" Harry exclaimed.

"Thats not just any broomstick, Harry. It's a Nimbus 2000!" Ron says.

"But who...?" Harry trailed off when he sees Professor McGonagall up at the head table, stroking Hedwig. She smiles and Harry nods.

Hailey smiled at McGonagall and looked at Harry with a smile. "You got this, Harry." Hailey tells him. "I believe in you."

Hailey smiled as she stood beside her sister and friend cheering Harry on. When their house scored, Hailey along with her house cheered loudly. She watched when she saw Harry losing control of his broom for some odd reason. "What's going on?" She asked.

"Hailey, its Snape." Hermione said.

"What are we going to do?" Ron asked.

"Hailey is already on it." Hermione said as she watched her sister going towards the stand that held the professors.

Hailey snuck up behind Snape and glared. She pulled her wand out and mumbled the spell. "Lacarnum Inflamarae."

She snuck away once she saw the fire on his robe and walked away. Hailey sighed as she saw Harry gaining control of his  broom. She watched as he chased after the snitch and smiled till the Slytherin's seeker followed him. "Come on, Harry." She mumbled.

When Harry landed after chasing the snitch as it was low to the ground, he looked to be sick. Hailey watched as whatever was wrong with him to see him stand up and raise his arm up with the snitch in his hand. "Yes." She said as she went back over to her sister. 'He did it."
