Granger Danger

Sixteen

Hailey was giving the female students in her dark arks class a disgusted. She looked at Harry as she heard Gilderoy Lockhart. "Am I the only girl who doesn't sigh at his appearance?"

"Yeah." Harry tells her making her smile. 

She looked back towards the front as he started teaching. Hailey had a bad feeling that something was underneath the sheet that covered what looks to be a cage. When he uncover it, Hailey jumped. "Cornish pixies?"

"Their nothing to laugh at." Hailey said as she glared at the teacher. "Their evil little pixies." 

"Yes, cornish pixies."

The blonde rolled her eyes till she watched him open the cage. Everyone started screaming as Hailey ducked, but her hair was being pulled. "Let go of me!"

"Leave her alone." Harry said swinging the book. 

The twins took their wands out, but Hailey was one step ahead. "Immobulus!" 

All the pixies froze in the air causing Hailey to smile. They saw Neville and smiled sadly. "Why is it always me?"

"Hold still, we'll get you down."

Later that day, Hailey walked out to the field where she can watch Harry practice. She saw the Slytherin and knew. "Somethings up." She mumbled as she walked over to them. 

"We have the field for today, Woods."

Harry looked at Hailey as she listened. When they saw Malfoy, Hailey couldn't help, but speak. "Got jealous because Harry is on the team?" She said. "Or did daddy buy your way on the team."

"Hailey." 

Malfoy got in her face making Hailey glare. "No one asked for your opinion, you filthy little Mudblood."

Hailey felt her heart break as Hermione was hurt by this also. "You'll pay for that one, Malfoy. Eat slugs!"

The spell back fired causing the Slytherin team to laugh as the others ran to him. "Ron?" Harry said.

"You okay, Ron." Hermione asked. "Say something."

"Come on, Ron." Hailey said. 

He rasied up and threw up slugs. A flash went off causing them to see Colin. "Hailey." Hermione said as Hailey started helping her. 

Harry followed behind them as they ran to Hagrid's hut.

Sitting to herself, Hailey stared out the window with tears rolling down her cheek. Her heart felt like it was torn out. Never has anyone called her a filthy name before. Harry saw her sitting by herself. "She needs you." Hagrid tells him. 

"He's right." Hermione said wiping her tears. "I'll talk to her later, but right now, she needs you, Harry."

Hailey wiped her tears as Harry sat down beside her. "Hey." She looked at him. 

"Hi."

"Ignore Malfoy, Haliey." He tells her. "Like Hagrid said to Hermione. You are beautiful, but to me, I think you're perfect."

"Really?"

"Yes." He tells her. "Not a day goes by that you don't seem to amaze me and I'm so happy to have met you because I'm knowing you more and more as the days go by. You are a witch and a very powerful one at that."

Hailey hugged Harry as the other three smiled at them. "Thank you."

Sometime that night, Hailey walked with Hermione as they were looking for Harry. He came out from the corner looking for something. "Harry?"

"I hear a voice. It's going to kill."

They watched him run off causing them to follow him. Harry grabbed Hailey's hand as they walked the hall together. They saw the spiders acting strange then a reflection of a message. Hailey looked up and was shocked. "It's written in blood." She said as Harry walked over to something. 

"It's Filch's cat."

"And guess who he will kill."

Hermione looked at her sister as they knew that something odd was going on and Harry hearing things has Hailey thinking about what could be wrong or was it something else that no one knows about just yet.
