Thirty three

Walking with her sister, Hailey listened to her and Ron talking till she saw Malfoy. "Here comes trouble." She stated as he walked over to them. "Can you just let us have a great day without dealing with you and your goons."

"Shut up, mudblood."

Glaring, Hailey punched him just for Hermione to pull her behind her as she knew her sister. As the boys continued with their carry on, a snowball was thrown causing her to look around till she saw another snowball. She laughed as she watched Draco and his goons run off. "Okay, that's amazing." She stated till she felt arms around her. "Harry!"

He uncovered himself. "Not funny."

"Come on, Ron. Loosen up." Hailey says as she put her arm around Harry. "We're all together. What else could happen?"

They watched Harry and Hailey walk away causing Ron to look at him. "What is up with them?"

"I think Harry wants to date Hailey, but they both haven't truly confessed their feelings." She tells him as they followed. "They're afraid that it's one sided when it's not."

Sometime on the trip, Harry and Hailey held hands as they walked together. They saw some of the professors going inside a pub making Harry put his cloak on. "Harry." Hailey called out as he followed inside. "Bad idea."

"What is he doing?"

"Getting answers to what happened to Lily and James." She tells them as they looked back at the pub. "I think it's a mistake because once he hears what they have known for years, he will be hurt."

Hermione knew Hailey was upset causing her to hug her sister. The blonde smiled a little till they saw foot prints in the snow running away. Looking at them, Hermione nodded as Hailey was the only person who would help him. Ron went to step forward as Hailey left causing Hermione to stop him. "Harry needs Hailey. I know we are his friends, but Hailey is the only person who will make him feel better. We know this."

"We should be there too." Ron tells her. "We need to go to them."

Hermione shook her head as she knew, Ron was going to be difficult about this.

"Harry, I know you are having a hard time struggling with this." Hailey tells him as she wiped his tears away. "I may not know the pain, but I knew you going into that pub was a bad idea. They will go by what they know and the only person who knows what happened that night is Sirius Black. I'm not on his side, but I think before you kill him, you deserve to have answers."

Harry looked at her. "I do." He says. "I want answers and then I will kill him."

Hailey laid her head on his shoulder as she wished he didn't go in there. She doesn't want to see him arrested. "Harry, let someone else kill him."

"Why?"

"Because I can't lose you." She tells him as she looked at their hands. "If you kill him then I will never get to see you ever again."

Harry realized that he would be sent to Azkaban like Sirius. He couldn't do that to Hailey. Even if they haven't confessed to their feelings. "I won't kill him, but I will get my answers."

"That's all I want." She tells him as they knew. "Let's go back."

Putting her under the cloak, the two headed back to the group so Hailey wouldn't get in trouble and for Harry to take the hidden passage way to get back before anyone notices.
