"Addison can you tell me what time it is"! I yell to Addison as I'm currently getting ready for the night with Chase.
"7:47"! she shouts.
"Ok thank you"! I shout as I finish applying the last of my makeup.
"You sure you got the kids"? I ask as I rush through my room trying to find my earrings.
"Yes I do. Now go have fun kiddo". She smiles, giving me a hug.
"Not to much. he is my ex-husband after all".
The felt so weird to say. Ex-husband. I would prefer Ex Boyfriend but sadly I got married to the deadly bastard.
"Still Tay. Go have fun. Maybe he won't end up being your ex husband". she shrugs and I roll my eyes. As I'm about to say something the doorbell rings.
"I'll get it". She says smiling and I mentally groan, walking behind her as she opens the door.
Chase stands there in a leather jacket, black ripped jeans and black boots. His hair still the same middle part and he still looked cute. Actually hotter than before.
"hey". he says quietly.
"hi". I say softly and Addison practically pushes me out the door.
"have fun". she says, closing the door.
"ready"? he ask and I nod shyly and we walk to his car.
He opens my door and I say a small thank you as he nods, walking over to his side and gets in.
Its quite for the first 5 minutes so I clear my throat and he looks at me.
"something wrong"?
"Uh. Its kind of quiet can you turn on some music"? I ask and he looks embarrassed.
"Yeah s-sorry about that". he stutters.
Chase's P.O.V
"I'm scared. What if I say the wrong thing. What if she leaves. What if-".
"Bro chill out. Your going on a date not prison. Chill. You'll be fine". Thomas says, fixing my collar.
"Ok man. I just hope she won't still want the divorce". I sigh and he pats my back lightly.
"She won't. Now go on. Go get your wife back". He smiles at me and I return the smile, grabbing my keys and phone then I head out the door.
I drive to her apartment and ring the door bell. I stand for a few minutes, my mind pacing back and forth.
Addison opens the door and I see Taylor walk behind her looking at me.
"hey". I say quietly.
"hi". she says softly. Addison is quick to push Taylor out the door saying "have fun". and closing the door fast.
"ready"? I ask and Taylor nods shyly as we then we walk to my car.
I opens the door for her and I hear say a small thank you as I nod my head smiling at her. I proceed to run over to my side quickly getting in and I head off to the karaoke club.
Its quite for the first 5 minutes until I hear Taylor clear her throat and I look her way.
"something wrong"? I ask.
"Uh. Its kind of quiet can you turn on some music"? she asks and my cheeks fluster. Of course. I already made shit awkward.
"Yeah s-sorry about that". I stutter.
