Chapter Fifteen~ Forgive and Forget

Chase's P.O.V 

I've been looking for Taylor everywhere and there's no sign of her. I start to get worried as I rush through the house asking people if they've seen her. This is a normal college house party so it's crowded so I would think that someone must have seen her. 

"Have you seen Taylor"? I ask the one person that I tried to avoid all night. 

"Yeah. She went in there". he says, pointing outside. 

Before I go to walk out he stops me. 

"Aye man I'm sorry about earlier. I just was upset to see that she got back together with someone who put her through a lot". 

I look away sadly and he sighs.

"I know I haven't known her as long as you have but she has a fragile heart. I can tell. There's something that must have happened for her to have a soft heart. Just be careful please I can tell she loves you a lot". he says, rubbing my back lightly and I nod. 

"I love her too man. I fucked up. I know I did. I just hope she'll forgive me and we'll move past it. I know it means nothing to her right as we just started dating again but I feel like this time I won't let her down". I say and he nods. 

"Go get here". he whispers, before turning around and walking off. 

Taylor's P.O.V 

I go outside because it's my only safe space where I can breath and even though there's multiple drunk people around and screaming I still feel I have a place to take a breath. I can't believe chase would say that. he knows what I've been through so there's no excuse he can give me as to why he said that. 

"Hey you okay? Sam told me what happened".  Charlotte asks and I shrug. 

"Hey. he loves you. I can tell he does. I know your hurt from what he's done in the past but you need to forgive and forget. I know its not easy to forget all that he cause but the first step is forgiving. You have two babies. Whether its staying friends or getting back together it doesn't matter you both need to be there for your kids". 

She has a point. We both have kids that we love so much. Soon they'll be old enough to understand. 

"I love him Char. I truly do. I Just don't know. Maybe giving him another chance was a bad decision maybe I'll just-".

"Taylor. Can I talk to you"? 

I turn around see him. 

"Hey". I say and he pulls me aside from Charlotte. 

"I'm sorry Taylor. I'm so fucking sorry Taylor. I was angry because I thought he was going to take you away from me. I love you so fucking much and I would do anything and I mean anything to get you back. Our kids need to grow up with their parents not just one of us. I will move out here to New York. I don't care. I'd do anything to bring us close as we were before. You'll always be my wife no matter what". He says, on the verge of tears and at this point I'm speechless. 

"Please Taylor. Even if this means take it slow I will go as slow as you need me to but at the end of the day I love you and only you please". Chase cries out and I sigh.

"Fine. I forgive you". I say and he hugs me with Joy. 

"I love you Taylor". 

"...". 

"I don't care if you don't say it I just want you to know I love you forever and always".

As soon as he said that I had a feeling that Always never meant forever...
