Gio's POV

I have a meeting with this certain person, and it ain't no business. But let me tell you, this is so important. Mark has a very brilliant idea about this and buti na lang kinalkal niya rin yung mga taong tumulong at napalapit kay Cheska, from her families to her friends including this man.

Nandito na ako sa isang fine dining restaurant, kung saan namin naisipan magkita dahil ayon na rin sa kanya may alam siya sa lahat.

I was about to go inside when my phone rings and it is my dad who's calling right now.

"Yes dad?" I plainly greeted.

(I've heard from Verriane na inaayawan mo pa rin siya?) Here we go again, that's why I hate that girl!

"Dad, I told you already that I don't want to get close to her coz she's too much to handle and sorry coz I really can't make your wish up until now" I silently hissed, seriously ? Nalalate na ako sa ka meeting ko.

(Son, marrying her is the best way to help us. If you really love us, especially your mother you  would do this.") Hindi pa rin talaga siya nadadala. He's always making my mom a bait just to make me follow him always, but unfortunately I'm not the old Gio anymore, I've grown up already. By the way, did I ever tell you na I'm also an engineer ? Yeah, I studied again after that hurtful incident and pumasa, siguro sumaya ako doon.

"I'm sorry dad, just .. Just give me time to think about it. Bye." Then, I immediately hang up. Baka kung saan pa umabot yung storya eh. I'm tired hearing his words it's like a shit in my ear.

I saw the man  already ,sitting conveniently on the left most corner in this restaurant.

"Hi good morning." Bati ko kaagad sa kanya. The manthat I'm talking about is none other than Florencio Santos, yeah you heard me, yung kasama ni Cheska sa airport and oh boy, kung hindi dahil sa pag iimbestiga ni Mark I wouldn't found out about his true identity. Geez, bakla pala ang pinagseselosan ko. =_____=
If you'd only saw Mark's reaction nung nalaman niyang pinagselosan ko ito, ang mokong ay pinagtawanan ako ng sobra =_______=

"Hi, have a seat." He/she offered. Err. I don't know how to address this man.
"Thanks. So, shall we take our order first?" I asked.
"sure thing." At yun nga, actually nahihirapan akong i.open up ang mga bagay na gusto  kong malaman, he really intimidates me.
Pagka alis ng waiter after getting our orders ay hindi ko akalaing mag oopen up agad siya.
"I know, atat na atat ka na, but let me tell you Mister-"
"I'm Engr. Gio Harris Yu" pakilala ko.
"Okay, Engineer Yu, you're not the only one who's hurting from the beginning of this story." He plainly stated.
"So what's your point?" Medyo nainsulto ako sa sinabi niya pero nagtitimpi ako.
"My point is, kung may nagawa mang mali sa Maria dati sa iyo, oh please let yourself hear her first, before you judge her so bad." His facial expression hardens.
"I know that thing, all I want right now is to know the truth, please do help me. Even if she hurted me like hell, I still want her back." His face immediately turned soft, bakla nga siya :D
"Actually, I'm having inhibitions about this meeting. Ang raming what if's, but when I saw her eyes and her face, I know her too well that she's still hurting. She maybe had baby G, yet she even told me how incomplete her life is." He started explaining and I just want to hear this side na ako mismo sa sarili ko ay hindi alam ang mga pangyayari.
"I don't know if you still have the same feelings for her, pero I know that she still loves you. Kahit pa noong pinagbubuntis pa niya si baby G, lagi siyang umiiyak sa kwarto niya at hinahawakan ang tanging picture niyo nung nanalo kayo as Mr. And Ms. Intrams ng school niyo dati. She keeps on saying your name na sana ay mapatawad mo siya, coz from the very beginning Gio, she didn't choose money over you, instead she chose to left you for your life's convenient and her family to be safe. Even all along she's crying because of pain, pero I'm always there to remind her na wag ng umiyak dahil makakasama sa baby, kahit pa may date ako ay hindi ko sinisiput ma samahan lang siya sa OB-gyne niya for pre-natal check-up niya. Mahal na mahal ko ang kaibigan kong iyon kahit pa iniinis niya ako pagnaglilihi siya." Napangiti ako bigla, at the same time at nalulungkot kung sana nandoon ako :(
"I'm doing this para magkaroon ng ama si baby G, kasi hindi talaga maikakaila na ikaw yung ama. To tell you, I'm doing this para sumaya na yung best friend ko. Nasasaktan ako pag nakikita siyang umiyak, please Gio give her another chance and don't worry I'll help you about this. Magiging masaya na kayo." He fervently smiled.
"Salamat." That's all I can manage to say dahil nandiyan na rin yung order namin.

Nagkuwentuhan pa kami tungkol sa nangyari sa Miami, sabi pa ni "Flora" na kung lalaki lang daw siya ay liligawan niya talaga si Cheska kahit pa buntis ito ay lutang pa rin ang kagandahan nito. hah ! Subukan niya lang ako talaga ang makakalaban niya. >3<
At kung sinuswerte ka nga naman, tapos na ang meeting namin ni Flora nang nag text ang naman ang secretary ko :

"Boss, good evening po. You have a lunch meeting tomorrow @ exactly 11:30 A.M. sa Fresto Café with Mr. Ricardo Reyes."

What an early meeting with my father-in-law. Hahaha ! Actually, matagal na kaming may connection ng papa niya simula ng pumasok ako sa business world dahil isa siya sa nag  offer sa akin para sa hotel and resort sa Cebu pero we never mix our issues with business. Kaya never kung naiopen ang about kay Cheska.
Guess, this is will be the start.
