Gio's POV
I was about to call someone when my office door opens. Whoa !
"Hi couz ! Miss me?" Then he winks.
"Calvin! Kaya pala may access ka sa office ko." Then we patted each other's back.
Nilibot niya ang mata niya sa opisina ko.
"So how's England?" Tanong ko.
"Well, it's so great there, maraming big projects na ginagawa and guess what?" He look at me like I'm about to guess something.
"What?" Then napasandal ako bigla sa swivel chair ko while playing my pen in my hand.
"I'm gonna handle a big project here in Philippines that's why I'm here." He proudly said.
"What project is that? C'mon Calv spill it man" as if I'm impatient right now.
"I'll be your architect in your new project in Cebu., so how's that?" He's saying that while tinaas-baba ang kilay.
"Oh man! So ikaw pala yung nirecommend ni Mr. Dela Merced, our head architect. Nag file kasi siya ng leave kaya pala hindi niya sinabi ang name mo, so that it'll look like a surprise." I said while smiling widely.
"Aren't you surprised man?" then he also smiled.
" I'm so damn surprise man." We've been talking for about almost an hour nagpa deliver na rin kami ng lunch sa office ko, we're coping up and tell stories about past and present hanggang sa umabot na kay Cheska.
"Do you still remember about the FB account we'd made for that girl you always adore like forever?" He said while sipping a white wine.
"Hahaha! You know what? Doon ko lang nailalabas yung nararamdaman ko para sa kanya." I also said while reminiscing again the short memories we had in FB.
"Same here man." Napalingon ako bigla sa sinabi niya.
"What the heck?!" Bigla kong bulalas.
"Hey! Calm yourself first coz it's not what you think." Napahinahon naman ako kaagad.
"You know, I also adore Cheska coz she's really an angel but I never betrayed you man kaya pinaubaya ko siya sa iyo. But there's a thing na nalaman ko pero minsan ay di bumaba ang tingin ko sa kanya dahil ginawa niya yun para sa pamilya niya at para sa'yo." Napamaang ako sa sinabi niya, at tumayo siya bigla.
"Anyway, thanks for accommodating me here couz. Think I'd better go now kasi may appointment pa ako at exactly 2pm." Napatingin siya sa relong pambisig niya.
Hinatid ko siya sa bukana ng pinto and we patted each other's shoulder .
"Oh I forgot to tell you, I've seen her... 4 years ago and she's ... Pregnant..." After that he walked away and I could sense loneliness in his face. So, all along hindi lang pala ako ang may gusto kay Cheska. I remember now, I opened that account once only. Hmmm... I must find out an important thing. Mukhang may tama pa rin siya kay Cheska, but sorry man, she's mine now and mine alone.
