You slowly went up the steps with Marco. You half expected someone to come chasing you guys down the stairs. Luckily that never happened.

You got to the top of the stairs and noticed there were four doors, two on each side of the hallway. Each of the doors were numbered from one to four.

"I guess this is the first one." You walked up to the door with number one hanging upside down on it.

"Lady's first yoi." Marco joked, you lightly punched him on the shoulder then opened the door.

The room was all dark except for one little candle in the corner.

"This is it?" You guestioned as you walked into the room.

"Maybe it's a fear of the dark yoi?" Marco picked up the candle and waved it around the room if he could see anything. He stopped when he noticed a man standing in the corner of the room.

You wish Marco hadn't picked up the candle.

The man was tall, kind of like a flamingo you know, except he was very lanky. He was wearing a black suit with a smiley mask covering his face.

"Why be afraid when I'm here?" The man whispered, because of the mask his voice sounded slurred. He took a step forward, his long legs making it easy for him to get over to you and Marco rather quickly.

"We can have so much fun. Don't you see?" He gestured over to the closet were a bunch of doll heads came rolling out.

"No thanks yoi." Marco placed the candle in the man's hand then speed walked out of the room with you.

The next two rooms weren't so bad, just angry barking dogs in one room, luckily  there was someone holding them back. And a very deranged, headless father in the other room.

"Well this is the last one yoi." Marco gripped the door handle.

"The other two weren't so bad, so this should be fine." You tried to reassure yourself, but from watching many movies you knew the best was saved for last, or worst in this case.

Marco just nodded and opened the door, the room was dark as you both slowly stepped in.

The door closed with a loud bang behind you two and suddenly the room was lit up by multiple lamps.

You gazed around the pink wallpaper room, taking notice of all China dolls decorating every available space. There was a low table in the center of the room, with a tea set on the surface.

"Well this isn't creepy." You murmured, you walked over to the small tea party. There were many dolls and stuffies sitting around the table. But what stood out to you the most was life sized doll of a lolita.

She had pink hair pulled back into two pigtails and was wearing a hot pink dress with black lace, and some ruffles at the bottom. The way her brown eyes looked so life like really freaked you out.

"Your staring is very not cute." The lolita doll suddenly spoke, well you guess she wasn't a doll after all.

You took a few steps back until you were standing next to Marco.

"Umm.... sorry?" You awkwardly scratched the back of your neck.

"Your apology is not cute." The lolita spoke again, she picked up a spoon and stirred her tea.

Am I supposed to be scared or insulted?

"Do we stay or leave yoi?" Marco whispered 8nto your ear, you just shrugged your shoulders in response.

"Well don't just stand there kiss." The lolita barked at you two. You flinched at the order, not that you didn't want to kiss Marco. But you didn't want to be bossed around into doing it.

"Oh, we're... n-not a couple." You stuttered out, your cheeks flaring up.

"Yeah, we're just friends yoi." You felt Marco's words stab straight through your heart. "So we're just gonna leave yoi."

"Just friends? Just friends don't come into this haunted house." The lolita scoffed, she took a sip from her tea cup as she rolled her eyes at you two.

"You two are being very not cute. So kiss and be cute." Lolita ordered, so far this room wasn't scary. It was just making you feel uncomfortable.

"We're not gonna kiss, so we'll just be leaving yoi." Marco pointed over his shoulder at the door.

"No. You most kiss if you want the door to be unlocked." The lights dimmed and the lolita took on the appearance of just crawling out of a grave. "Kiss and be a cute couple or drink tea here with me forever."

While you liked tea, staying here forever didn't seem like a good option.

"Marco let's just kiss." You tugged on Marco's sleeve.

"A-Are you sure yoi?" Marco was a little suprised at your suggestion.

"I mean how else are we gonna leave?" You avoided looking Marco in the eyes, hoping he wouldn't catch onto how nervous you felt.

Marco nodded his head, he placed his hands on your shoulders and started to lean forward. You also started to lean towards the handsome blond.

You shut your eyes and almost gasped when you felt Marco's lips on yours. The lolita was probably just expecting a peck on the lips, hell that's all you were expecting.

What you weren't expecting was for Marco to press his lips more firmly against yours. His right hand cupped the back of your head, while his left hand went to your waist holding you closer to his firm body. Your own hands snaked around his neck.

"While kissing is cute, making out in front of those who are single is not. You guys can leave now." The lolita sighed as she pointed towards the open door.

Your cheeks reddened, both from the kiss and forgetting that somebody else was in the room watching you both.

"Right, well goodbye yoi." Marco grabbed your hand and walked out of the room with you. You noticed that the tips of his ears were pink, seems someone else also enjoyed the kiss.

At the end of the hall was another worker, they showed you two the way out through the back door.

Marco held onto your hand until you were both outside.

"So umm-"

"Do you-"

"You first."

"W-well the kiss yoi. Did you-"

"There you two are!"

Great Ace. Way to interrupt at the perfect time.
