You sat on Marco's lap in the yellow striped lawn chair. Everyone was out in Vivi's backyard, either fooling around in the enormous pool or just playing games in the lawn.

Ace was sat next to you two, you and Marco had gotten him early in the morning from the hospital despite being tired from lasts nights activities. The freckled male didn't want to spend all day in the hospital, even if he had a rather large hickey on his neck.

You teased him about it for a while, asking him which nurse gave it to him, but you instantly shut up when he pointed out the various hickies on your neck. You never even realized that Marco had left so many hickies on your body.

Since you couldn't get your stitches wet and Ace had to take it easy for a few days until he got better, the two of you were playing catch up, even if the two of you have only been separated for a day. The two of have been friends forever so a day was like an eternity for the both of you.

"I can't believe Vivi gave you the lingerie that she was meant to wear for Luffy." Ace snickered as he looked over to his younger brother, the goofball clinging to Zoro as they swam around the pool. Well it was more like Zoro swimming while Luffy tried not to drown.

"Can you really blame her though? Luffy is a bit oblivious." You sighed feeling truly sorry for your blue haired friend.

"I'm glad he's oblivious yoi. It meant I got to enjoy you wearing it." Marco softly nibbledbon your ear from behind you. Despite not swimming the blond was only wearing a pair of swim trunks, leaving his muscles to press against your back.

"Ew gross." Ace grimaced at Marco's display of affection towards you.

"What? You guys are talking about it yoi." Marco pointed out.

"But it's different to hear it from my friend." Ace whined. You didn't really understand Ace's logic, Marco was basically telling him the same stuff that you would have told him.

Maybe since they were brothers it was different somehow?

"Whatever yoi." Marco chuckled as he peppered kisses against the back of your neck. You noticed that the male was very affection towards now that you two were dating, he didn't care who saw.

"Stop being gross with my friend." Ace childishly pouted.

"Like you weren't gross with a nurse at the hospital." You teased your friend.

"S-she was just making sure I was alright." Ace mumbled out his cheeks taking a pink tinge to them.

"You have heat exhaustion, how is whatever she did making you better yoi? You're supposed to be getting fluids right now, not pumping them out." Marco smirked atbhis younger brother. With both you and Marco teaming up on him, Ace had no idea how to respond.

"Just shut up." Ace grumbled out. He had originally planned a fun filled day for you guys in Alabasta, but since he was technically sick those plans were canceled. You had told the others that they could still do those plans, but they all agreed it wouldn't be fun with you and Marco staying behind to watch Ace. Well except Kid, the red head was all but ready to ditch you three for some 'desert chicks' as he called it. Of course Killer wouldn't let him do so.

You continued to tease your bestie with the help of your boyfriend until it was time to leave. According to Marco Dressrosa was about a eighteen hour drive from Alabasta, so you guys would be stopping off at some motel along the way.

You were in the kitchen filling up everyone's water bottles and even filling some extra just in case. Someone came into the room grabbing something from the cupboards but you didn't pay much mind to them, at least not until they started speaking to you.

"Marco seems to be treating you well. That's good seeing as you always had your eyes on him." Came Killer's deep voice. You flinched a little not expecting him to speak to you on the matter.

"Oh, ummm... yeah he's really nice to me." You mumbled out. You've only been dating the male for a few days so you didn't really know what to say. That was a lie though you knew exactly what to say. The blond treated you well and the sex was amazing, even if you guys only went all the way last night. But you wouldn't tell that to your ex.

"That's good. You've always liked him so it's nice to see that he's treating you well." Killer leaned against the counter, his attention solely on you.

You didn't really know what to say to that. You knew what you and Killer had was mainly out of selfish reasons. But still you could say that what you two had was special. So you didn't want tov
say anything that would unintentionally hurt his feelings.

"Don't feel like you have to spare my feelings (Y/N). We both know that we dated each other out of selfish reasons. Me because I was lonely after just getting out of a breakup and you because you though you could never be with Marco. My feelings won't be hurt by what you say. I'm genuinely happy for you." Killer explained, his bangs covering his eyes as he smiled at you.

"To be honest I was worried you'd be upset with me. I know that are relationship wasn't necessarily healthy... but I don't know it kind of felt like I was rubbing it in your face by being with Marco. Especially since your on this road trip too." You avoided eye contact with the shaggy blond as you voiced your concerns.

"Heh, why would I be upset over your happiness? We both knew that our relationship was going nowhere fast. So  I mean it when I say I'm happy for you." Killer smiled at you.

"Thanks, that means a lot actually." You sighed out, an invisible weight lifting from your shoulders.

"No sweat. Hugs?" Killer awkwardly held up his arms.

"Hugs." You said as you leaned into thebmans embrace.

Little did you know that a certain someone was watching you two.
