You walked with Marco out into the backyard. Which was really just a thin patch of grass between houses.

You waited while Marco told Ace not to eavesdrop and close the sliding glass door.

Marco turned to face you, but didn't say anything. His brown eyes stared at you intensely while he tried to come up with the right words to say.

"I like you yoi."

"I like you."

You both said at the same time. There was a pause of silence, both your eyes widened in shock.

"Wait so you like me? This whole time yoi?" Marco asked as he pointed at himself.

"Yeah I've always had a big crush on you." You shyly admitted, your cheeks were taking on a rosy color. It was from telling your crush you liked him and the way Ace was gazing at you both intensely from the other side of the window.

You were glad when Robin closed the blinds.

"Really? I though I didn't stand a chance, especially when you were dating Killer yoi. And then he came on this trip." Marco admitted, you noticed that a slight smile was starting to rise on his cheeks.

"You liked me back then? I'll admit I dated Killer because I didn't think I stood a chance with you. I wish you told me back then, Killer was a good boyfriend but we both didn't actually like each other like that." You explained and just like that Marco had a huge grin on his face.

Marco's hands went around your waist, pulling you closer to himself.

"You have no idea how happy I am to hear that yoi." Marco said before kissing you. His lips melded perfectly to yours in a delicate dance. He was kissing you so softly yet deeply at the same time.

You lost your breath in the kiss, your hands reaching up to wrap around Marco's neck.

"Wow! Kissing!" Ace's slightly muffled voice came from the other side of the glass door.

You and Marco separated to glare at your best friend.

"Oh, sorry. Just ignore me." Ace said as he slid away from the window, the curtains closing behind him.

"Should we continue yoi?"

"Yeah, but maybe when Ace still isn't standing behind the window waiting for us to kiss." You spoke up loudly as banged your hand on the window.

You heard a yelp followed by footsteps running away.

"Heh, sorry about him yoi." Marco softly chuckled. His arms pulled you in for another hug as he placed a soft peck on your forehead.

"Don't be. I've been friends with Ace since we were kids, I know how he is." You chuckled as you returned the embrace.

You two stood out there a while longer, enjoying each other's presence and sharing some more kisses. You only went back in when Robin called you in for supper.

"So are Marco and (Y/N) married now?" Luffy asked over a mouthful of food, he'd already started eating without you guys.

"Wha- no we're dating yoi. Where did you get marriage from?" Marco asked his brother. You will admit Luffy's question made you blush a little.

"That's what Thatch told me, he was watching a movie one time and the couple were kissing. Then they went to the bedroom and I asked what they were doing. Thatch said they were getting married." Luffy explained, his innocent answer made you smile. But you couldn't help but wonder why Thatch would watch inappropriate movies in front of the boy.

"Hah, are you sure you're 18? Cause I can tell you that's not what was happening in whatever movie your brother was watching." Kid snickered, the red head was about to open his mouth and probably tell Luffy things he didn't need to know.

"Kid shut up." You spoke up before he could. The red head shot you a glare, about to argue with you until he was cut off again.

"Yes, shut up Kid-ya. Hearing you talk gives me a headache." Law smirked while massaging his temples. Of course he liked saying and doing things to get under Kid's skin.

"Why you-"

"Kid shut up, we're trying to eat." Killer stuffed a forkful of food into the red heads mouth. He made some choking sounds before swallowing his food and shooting his friend a glare.

Dinner was full of playful banter and Luffy stealing food off of everyone's plate. When the food was done everyone gathered in the living room to watch a few movies.

You sat curled up in Marco's lap, he had one hand around your waist and the other playing with your hair.

Throughout the movie you could see Ace giving you two kissy faces, you just rolled your eyes at your friend's childish antics. But of course you did have a huge grin on your face, you were just so happy that you were finally with Marco.
