Your arm was all stitched up and bandaged now, courtesy of Law. The process hurt like a bitch so Law had given you some pain relivers after he was done.

Kid had reluctantly apologized to you. He had to if he didn't want Ace, Marco and Killer kicking his ass. The red head knew he was in the wrong, but that didn't mean he'd admit it. So you accepted his half asked apology knowing he wouldn't do such a thing again.

Currently you were sitting with Marco and Robin on the towels. You had changed back into normal clothes no longer interested in swimming. That and Law wouldn't let you with your fresh stitches.

It was still early in the day, you guys had just finished lunch, before Luffy dragged everyone who still wanted to swim back into the water.

Robin was sitting on the other side of Marco, quietly reading her book. She took notice of how you were just watching the others playing in the water, while Marco was busy staring at you. She let out a sigh before elbowing her friend in the side.

Marco raised his eyebrows, a small frown on his face as he gazed over at his friend. He gave her a look that screamed 'what?' She just rolled her eyes at him before gesturing over to you.

"Oh, ummm... (Y/N) do you want to go on a walk with me yoi?" Marco's question drew your stare from your friends in the water as you looked over to the male.

"Yeah. A walk sounds good." You smiled up at Marco causing the male's face to take on the tiniest tinge of pink.

"Cool. I think I saw a sign for a trail nearby yoi." Marco stood up, you followed his lead. You halted in your movements noticing that Robin wasn't following you two.

"Aren't you coming Robin?" You asked, you felt kind of stupid for asking. This was your chance to be alone with Marco, but your mind thought the two were interested in each other and would want to spend time with one another.

"No, I'm good here." Robin replied, no way was she going to get in the way of an opportunity for her friend to get with you.

You just nodded your head, a little shocked by her answere, before you continued to walk with Marco. The male was glad that no one else tried to come on your walk.

Well Luffy did, but when Ace saw you two walking off together he quickly started splashing his younger brother with water to distract him.

"The sign says there are three trails to choose from. We'll go with the easier one, with your earlier accident we wouldn't want you to over exert yourself yoi." Marco looked at you to see if you had any objections. You agreed with him, it had been forever since you've been on a hike, so an easier one would be much appreciated.

Easy my ass.

You huffed as you stumbled over some rocks. Marco grabbing onto your shoulder to stop you from kissing the ground.

The trail had started out easy enough, a flat trail nestled between tall trees and plenty of foliage. It soon turned into a steep, rocky incline.

"We can turn back if you want yoi." Marco stopped so you could catch your breath. The blond hadn't even broken a sweat, this trail was probably nothing to him.

"I'm good. We're almost to the top anyways." You panted as you pointed to the top. The trail didn't go all the way to the top, but it had small lookout point before it went back down the hill.

You swear this hill was more of a mountain, it was just so huge.

"If you say so yoi." Marco fell into step beside you. He could have easily made it to the lookout without you, but he chose to walk next to yo. His hand softly resting on your hip to make sure you didn't stumble anymore.

"Wow! This view is amazing." You gasped as soon as you guys made it to the lookout. You scurried over to the ledge, your hands resting on the fence that was up to stop people from falling over.

In front of you was rows and rows of Yarukiman trees, their green leaves carpeting the forest top. You could even see a glimpse of the lake you guys were staying at.

"Not as beautiful as you yoi..."

"Hmm, what was that?" You turned to face Marco, missing what he had said.

"I said it's a nice view yoi." Marco quickly said, he came to stand next to you. You took notice of how he was standing extra close to you.

His shoulder brushing against yours, and his had placed very close to your own on the wooden barrier. You looked up at Marco taking in how his eyes relaxed looking at the view and the way his lips turned up it to a small smile.

You took in a deep breath, inching your hand towards his. Your fingers just brushing his, the blond taking notice.

"I'M HUNGRY!!!"

How the hell can we hear Luffy from all the way up here?

Marco moved his hand away from yours, reaching up to scratch the back of his neck.

"I guess we should start heading back yoi."

"Uh, yeah." You mumbled out, your head hung a little low as you followed him down the trail. You mentally kicked yourself for almost holding his hand.

Of course he doesn't want to hold hands with me. He obviously likes Robin.
