Road Trip Hell (Marcoxreader)

"You've got to be kidding me pineapple-ya." Law grumbled, Marco let out a tsk at Law's nickname for him.

Marco had just told the group the you would all be sleeping in the van.

Killer, Zoro, and Robin were fine with this. Marco, Ace, and Luffy were fine with it as well and you were fine with it as long as you didn't have to sleep next to Luffy. That boy tossed and turned in his sleep like a bouncy ball.

The only people who had objections to this were Law and Kid. The two were fine with having to sit in it together but sleeping was a whole different story.

"Like Mr. Dark circles even fucking sleeps." Kid crossed his arms over his chest, a glare on his face pointed towards Law. "No way in hell am I sleeping next to the creep."

"You two don't have to sleep next to each other yoi. One of you can sleep on the front seat." Marco massaged his temples, he was tired after a day of driving, hiking, and cooking food. The poor guy just wanted to go to sleep without any problems.

"Screw that. I'm sleeping outside." Kid grabbed his bag and trudged off somewhere.

"Well that's settled yoi." Marco huffed he reached into another bag he brought and started to pull out some blankets. You helped the male lay out a bigger blanket over the shag carpet.

Afterwards the guys waited outside while you and Robin changed into your pajamas. You two did the same with the guys.

"Law would it be fine if I slept in the front seat?" Robin asked stoic male, this confused. You thought Marco and Robin liked each other and therefore would want to sleep next one another.

"Yeah I don't care." Law replied he grabbed a blanket and flopped down close to the van of the wall.

Luffy cuddled up to the male, much to Laws distaste. Zoro layed down next to his friend and Killer next to him. Ace lying next to the long haired blond and Marco next to his brother.

You blushed noticing there was room for you next to Marco and the wall. Shyly you closed the doors and crawled in next to Marco. The male handing you a blanket as you layed down.

Sleep did not come easy to you. Since it was so humid in Sabaody, it made it hot in the van. Robin had rolled down the windows and everyone was sleeping fine. But really you were to nervous because the handsome blond sleeping next to you.

"Can't sleep yoi?" Marco yawned as he rolled over to face you. He found he was having trouble sleeping too, mostly because he was actually laying next and partly because Ace was drooling on him.

"Um, yeah. My neck is a little uncomfortable." You weren't kidding, sleeping without a pillow had your neck feeling stiff.

"Here." Marco moved closer to you his arm going under your head for you to use as a pillow.

A very muscley pillow.

You were now very aware that you only had a blanket and your clothes separating  your body from his. You were hoping there wasn't enough moonlight shining in to show your rosy cheeks.

Marco had a pink hue to his face. How could he not with you tucked into his side. It may have been a little creepy but he watched you until you fell asleep. He waited a bit to make sure you were sleeping peacefully before he closed his own eyes.

~Le Time Skip~

"Rise and shine bitches!" The back doors to the van were slammed open by Kid.

You squinted your eyes at the bright invasion of sunlight. You reached down to tug the blanket over your head, instead you grasped onto an arm.

Your eyes shot open to be greeted with the sight of Marco's sleeping face. You two had definitely moved closer to each other in your sleep. His arm was wrapped securely around your waist and your legs tangled together.

"Did ya' hear me? Get up!" Kid shouted again as he banged his face on the side of the van. Drawing groggy groans and tired 'shut up's from every one.

Why is Kid even the first one up? He's always sleeping in.

You turned your head to give Kid a piece of your mind, but instead you started laughing.

"Hmm, what is it yoi?" Marco mumbled his hand reaching up to rub at his tired eyes. He was still tired, but if he could wake up to the sound of your laughter each day he wouldn't care what time he got woken up at.

"Kid, what the hell happened to you?" You managed to say between giggles. The red head was covered in red, itchy looking splotches.

"Looks like someone forgot to put on some bugs spray." Law smirked clearly enjoying the males discomfort.

Kid was trying to make it seem like the spots didn't bother him, but you could see him subtlety scratching at them.

"If you hadn't ran outside so fast, you could have put on some of the bugs spray i brought." Killer shook his head at his friend. The blond had offered some to everyone last night when Robin opened the windows.

"Shihihi you look like a cheetah." Luffy was poking at one of the many splotches on Kid's body.

"Stop doing that!" Kid swatted the younger males hand away. "Can we just fucking go?"

"Food!"

"Food will have to wait yoi. We gotta get going now if we want to make our check-in time for Thriller Bark." Marco checked the time on his phone.

You all quickly got changed, Luffy complaining the whole time he was hungry, so you gave him a few bag of chips.

This time you got to sit next to Marco as he drove.
