Sol POV

Spending the night with Loki, I returned back half asleep and littered with love bites along my shoulder and neck. This led me to wear a sleeveless turtleneck the next day, but no one seemed to notice.

Staring at the book Loki gifted me, I smile as my hand rubs against the old cover. Thinking about the green-eyed god, I feel a sense of determination. Rushing out of my room, I see Thor in the kitchen.

Not giving him room to argue, I pull him over, leading him to my room. I feel pointed stares; turning my head, I smile at Natasha and Clint before continuing forward. Pushing him in gently, I close the door behind me.

"What seems to be the problem, Lady Sol?"

Looking up at him with determination, I smile, "I want to free Loki, I want to reopen his trial."

"Lady Sol, I know you love my brother with all your heart, but-"

I cut him off, "But nothing, I know that he was being controlled, used! If I can prove that he was and show that it won't ever happen again, Odin can't keep him locked away."

Looking down at me for a second, he nods, "Ok, let's go right away."

Smiling at him, I pull him into a tight hug, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

He laughs, "Anything for my future sister!"

Feeling my cheeks heat up, he pulls me away, "Come one, we must not delay."

Holding my hand, he looks at the others, "Lady Sol has  business on Asgard; I'll return her soon."

Not giving them much room to talk, we flash off, finding ourselves back in the golden dome. Greeting Heimdall, we rush off to the palace, wasting no time in entering the throne room.

Bowing, I look up at Odin; he smiles along with Frigga, "Lady Sol, it's good to see you again."

I smile, "It's good to be back."

"What brings you here?"

Looking up at him, I stand up straight, "I would like to reopen Loki's trial; he deserves to be free."

Odin frowns, "I refuse to listen to this nonsense-"

Thor steps in, "Father, please listen to her words!"

He opens his mouth, but I don't let him finish, "King Odin, I believe Loki was being controlled. Like many beings, the one who controlled him used the pain that festered in Loki against you and the people of Earth. He does not deserve to be put away for actions that weren't of his unconscious doings!"

He looks down at me, his face hard with distaste, "And how can you prove that?"

"The day I first met him, in the cell, I saw his mind. I saw how foggy it was, his eyes were blue, and when I clear it, he was freed. I believe the cube and scepter fed led to his control and to do such actions."

He thinks for a moment, pondering on my words. I feel a bit anxious, but I hold my ground.

"You're close to him; you have a connection. I've only seen such a thing between few people. It's strong, strong enough that you could be trying to deceive me. I know little of your lineage, of who you are. So, show me that you are worthy."

Reading into his words, I look at Thor as he summons his hammer. Looking up at Odin with fury in my eyes, I speak confidently, "I am Sol Verdandi Macias, Child of the Macias Family, Daughter of Hertha of Asgard and a product of the God and Goddess of Shi'ar. The deities of the universe stand by my side, I as their messenger, as they have done for my family for generations! I pledge to grant peace, justice, and balance to those I grace. I am worthy!"
