Days rolled into weeks which rolled into months, leaving the two's bond to grow tremendously. Mornings filled exploring along turned into mornings of him showing her the many wonders of his domain.

The love shared between the two was pure, delicate, and unbreakable. He knew that, and she felt the repercussions in the best ways. One night when the sky rained stars, they sat together on the tree that to watch them.

While she was busy looking at the shooting stars, he was focused on her, and when he saw her green eyes, she leaned in, kissing her gently. She was surprised at first but accepted his touch with grace and care.

While the action was small, it meant the world to them; it meant so much more than many could ever realize. As time continues forward, Skadi was feeling homesick. She began to miss the people, the mountain, her family, but she didn't wish to part from Cernunnos.

He knew something was wrong, and after talking with her, he quickly realized his conflict. He would do anything for her, but was he ready to leave the only thing he's ever known? So with her laying by his side, he called the stars, asking for their guidance a sign.

The duties watching from above did, and by morning the bear who roamed the planet sat in front of Cernunnos's home. He was confused at first, but the little words shared gave him the clarity he needed.

By the end of the week, both said farewell; with the Bear being the new watcher of Talamh, they went through the portal, heading straight to New Asgard.

Landing in Skadi's home, a sense of happiness washes over her. Holding Cernunnos's hand, she smiles at him, making his heart flutter. Showing him around, many were confused at the sight of him. No one had seen a hybrid between man and animal in such a way, but they welcomed him nonetheless.

Taking him to the Council Building to meet his parents, he takes his time to soak in the wonders around him. Stepping into the building, she smiles at the sight of Loki.

"Father!"

He turns his head and smiles, "My Little Snowflake, welcome home."

Rushing over to him, she gives him a tight hug. Joyed to see him, she looks around, "Where's Mother and Máni? I want to introduce you guys to someone."

"Well, your Mother is in New York to meet the sorcerer and the child. Máni is off in the market with Salvador. Both should be returning soon; who is this and why is he lacking clothes."

Turning around, she pulls the horned man over, "Father, this is Cernunnos, Cernunnos, this is my father, Loki."

Loki looks at him, "And you met him on his travels?"

Skadi nods her head; Cernunnos smiles, "It's nice to meet you."

Loki nods, "Well, my wife will be home soon; why don't you stay for dinner."

Skadi grows excited, making Cernunnos nod. Loki being a father he does not care for the stranger; from the subtle touches to the way their fingers intertwined, he knew they are far more than friends. He would have to inform his bother to come ready for when the next holiday rolled around.

Along the way, they met up with Máni and Salvador leading to a new introduction. Unlike Loki, he was more open to the hybrid man; he trusts his sister's judgment, especially when it came to who she chooses to be her lover.

Settling in the home, Loki starts dinner, listing in on the conversation between his children and Cernunnos. Hearing of her tails and how they ended up meeting, he watched Cernunnos like a hawk as they spoke of the giant snake she met.

Cernunnos turns his head, meeting Loki's not-so-subtle glances, and smiles at him. The tan man was like a ball; the malice that was shot at him bounced off with ease, frustrating the mischievous god to no end.

By the time dinner was coming along, the door open, revealing Sol in all her glory under the light of the setting sun. He smiles at her, and she returns it as he places a kiss on her lips. Looking at her children and the bright eye boy who stole her son's heart, she greets them, leaving her to notice the guest last.

She smiles warmly, "And who may you be?"

He answers, not giving Skadi to set off the introduction, "Cernunnos."

Sol nods, "It's nice to meet you."

"You as well."

Helping her husband with dinner, she notices their intimate actions, making her smile. Loki voices his concern, leading them to speak in silence and Sol soothing his protective anger.

Setting the table, the dinner commenced, it didn't take long for Skadi and Cernunnos to announce their strong feeling of affection, but it wasn't a secret to them. Loki was outraged, but he remained calm with Sol's warm touch.

Cernunnos seemed to finally catch on, and as dessert came, he spoke up with no regard for the others around him.

"Odinson, I know you are worried for your daughter, but I wish her no harm. From the moment I met her, I have wanted nothing more than her safety and happiness. That is what matters to me; that is why I left my home to see those she cared about the most. I apologize for giving you such discomfort, but I plan on staying by her side until my final breath."

This sudden declaration left everyone stunned, Skadi's eyes watered a bit, but Loki saw right through his words; he saw nothing but the truth and conviction underneath.

"Loki."

He was confused by his words, "You can call me Loki, and I hope you take care of her; she is my Little Snowflake after all."

The atmosphere was warm; Máni pats Cernunnos's bareback, "Congrats on getting into the family!"

Cernunnos accepted his kind words, not understanding that Salvador had to go through the same thing in order for Loki to warm up to him as well.

Throughout the night, the family laughed, enjoying the sweets and stories passed around. Enjoying the peace and love that hung, the fate that has become home.
