Chapter 3

Warning: Cursing

Tommyinnit's POV (First person) ((Surprise??))

I had just started streaming on dream SMP, when something strange had happened. I was just chilling in my base, talking to chat about the duel I had with dream when someone joined the server.

[CheckMate joined the game]

Not knowing who this 'checkmate' was, I quickly typed in the chat:

[Tommyinnit> WHO THE FUCK IS CHECKMATE]

[Dream> I dont know. I didnt invite them]

I looked over at chat, seeing if they knew who this checkmate person was, but everybody was spamming '???', 'Who's that?'  or 'Who's checkmate??' I found that kind of weird.  I looked back at my game, confused until the discord notif sound rang, signaling someone had joined the VC.

"Tommy? you there? man, its weird not hearing you screaming your  lungs out." Wilbur chuckled.

I didn't even notice I was quiet until he pointed it out. I looked at chat some more, still seeing question marks spammed. "hey wil.." I muttered, coming out quieter then i expected.

there was silence at the other end. 

"Yeah tommy?" Wil said back, worry lacing his words.

"Do you know who THE FUCK CHECKMATE IS" I yell into the mic, breaking the tense air I caused.

Wilbur chuckled a bit before replying to me.

"I'm sorry to say, but I do not know who this checkmate person is," he replies still giggling a little.

we laugh for a couple fo seconds before Wilbur says something that confuses me even more.

"Hahah.. look tommy, even they dont know where they are and how they got here. looks like they have your potty mouth too."

I freeze when he says that. It's silent for a couple for a couple of seconds before I burst.

"OHH YOU STUPID SONOFABITCH I DO NOT HAVE A FUCKING POTTY MOUTH IM NOT A TOILET YOUR THE TOILET YOU FUCKING IDIOT" i yell in one breath.

"Calm down tommy." wilbur says, slightly laughing at my rambling.

I continue to cuss at him, until he says something that makes me stop, again.

"Look! dream is making fun of your tower!"

Immediately, my focus switches to cussing out dream.

[Dream> Ill be at tommy's ugly cobble tower]

[Tommyinnit> FUCK YOU GREEN BLOB ITS NOT UGLY]

I smile at the screen in victory, before screaming at what was said next.

[CheckMate> I dont know who tommy is but I think I know an ugly 'cobble' tower when I see one]

Chat starts going faster, people spamming 'WHAT' and 'HAHAHA'.

I type in chat like an angry lightning mcqueen, my keyboard clicking with every letter.

[Tommyinnit> WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU AND WHY DONT YOU KNOW WHO I AM]

It was kind of weird when they said they didn't know who I was, but I brushed it off. 'they could be acting for the plot. I dont know why dream said he didnt invite them either. they must be working together.' I said in my head, detective mode turning on.

Phil joins the VC when this CheckMate person types in chat again.

"So.. Wil."

"Yes, dad." wilbur answers too quickly.
