You leaned your head against Hisoka's chest as you looked out at the courtyard below, watching Killua as he laughed with his new friends.
Hisoka watched your content gaze as he played with your hair, "what will you do next.~"
You looked up at him and gave him a soft kiss on the lips, smiling as you did so and then turning your head back towards Killua. "I'm not sure, I'll need to retake the hunter exam eventually, but what I do know is that I feel the freest that I've felt in a long time."
He smirked, "well you do owe me a rematch,~" he wrapped his arms around you and placed a soft kiss on your neck, "I just can't bring myself to part with my most precious toy.~"
You smiled at his words and turned around, wrapping your arms around his neck, "don't worry love, I'm not letting you out of my sight." You leaned forward and kissed him deeply before pulling away.
"There's one more thing I need to do," you said.
Hisoka nodded slightly, and released you from his arms, taking out his now bloody deck of cards as you walked away.
You located Killua as you exited the building, walking to a pillar at the edge of the courtyard.
It didn't take long for him to notice your presence and he turned around, excusing himself from his friends before walking towards you, his hands shoved in his pockets.
"Hey Kill," you said softly as he reached you.
He didn't say anything, keeping his eyes on the ground as he stood in front of you.
You smiled sadly, "I know you probably hate me Kill, but-
"I don't hate you," he said quietly.
You looked at him surprised.
He stayed silent for a few moments before flicking his eyes towards you, avoiding holding your gaze for more than a second, "I'm still mad at you for leaving," he shoved his hands deeper into his pockets, "but I've missed you (Y/N)."
You stared at him wide-eyed before a relieved smile came over your face. "I've missed you too, Kill," your smile faded and you turned your gaze towards the ground.
"I'm sorry about Illumi as well, but he-"
"Don't apologize about him." Killua interrupted you yet again, and you looked up in surprise.
He held your gaze firmly, his eyes cold and fixed, not an ounce of grief on his face.
You were taken aback by his hardened expression, I was wrong about him, he is certainly not the same boy from two years ago, little Killua has grown up.
"If what he did to you is true, then he deserved every ounce of pain you put him through." His cheeks reddened and he looked away in embarrassment, "cause if you didn't do it, I would've killed him myself for hurting my big sister."
You laughed at Killuas expression as your lips formed a wide smile, and before he could protest, you pulled him into a tight hug, ruffling his hair as he squirmed in your arms.
"I've missed you kid, don't be getting in too much trouble." You released him and he jumped away, his whole face red.
You looked past him at Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio who were talking with Hanzo, "I'm guessing you're going with them?"
Killua followed your gaze, "yeah," he turned back to you and smiled, "Gon needs me."
You chuckled, smiling at him fondly.
"What will you do?" He asked.
You glanced up at Hisoka who was still on the balcony, his eyes closed, a relaxed smile on his face as he played with his deck of cards.
"I'm not quite sure yet, but it's bound to be interesting." You stepped forward and ruffled Killua's hair one more time before turning away, walking back towards the building.
"I'll see you around Kill," you looked over your shoulder, "and I promise we'll see the stars again someday."
----------
You stood at the edge of the cliff, your (H/C) hair flowing around you, as you looked out into the endless blue sea, the sunrise making the water shine and glitter.
This world Kiri, Haru, It can be good, you smiled at Hisoka who stood beside you, a relaxed expression on his face, his eyes closed as the sun cast a light glow on his features.
You turned your gaze back towards the ocean, I'm going to find that good and make it known, It will be a world you can be proud of.
You extended one of your arms, reaching out towards the light.
And no one can stop me.
