I blinked, "Escaped his lab? He took you?" He nodded rapidly before Diego gave him an extra long glare.
"There's another you, walking around Tiltown. Did you know that?" Diego questioned Jerrick who then looked at him with a frown.
"Yes, I did. But I really have to tell you something bad." Jerrick replied, shaking his leg. We all glanced back at Abraham who was looking at Jerrick, slightly freaked out by his anxious demeanor.
"We need to get Abraham, the real Abraham on our side first. Abraham?" West said, staring down his brother. Jerrick glanced to Abraham, slightly confused but his nervousness overwhelmed the confusion.
"No!" Jerrick abruptly exclaimed. We all shot our head towards him with surprise. "You need to listen to me now! I think I was followed by Abraham, or well, the o-other one." He stuttered, his words toppling over each other in a rapid manner. Abraham slammed his fist against a nearby wall before cursing under his breath before he joined back in the group.
"You said you were in his lab? Did he tell you any of his plans?" Abraham inquired Jerrick. Though, as he opened his mouth to respond, another knock on the door came along. Jerrick sprinted behind a couch before peeking his eyes over.
"It's him." He whispered, over and over to himself. My eyes scanned the room as I noticed that we all continued to stand in a circle, so, I sigh to myself and make my way to the front door. I squeezed my eyes closed before I opened it wide.
"Kat?" She stood there with tightened smile.
"Yeah, I heard that my friends were here." She said, attempting to look around me. Her smile still plastered over her face. This didn't seem like the Kat I knew.
"Like, you mean, Jerrick?" I asked, looking back at the group before Jerrick walked closer to see what was happening.
"Jerrick, James, West and Abraham." She listed off. At this point, I could visibly see that the smile she was wearing was now causing her pain as her eyes didn't match the smile anymore. Her eyes were pained.
"So?"
"Soo, this isn't where they live. I'm bringing them back to Tiltown." She fake laughed. Or perhaps, she was trying to genuinely laugh but it had sounded forced. Abraham suddenly blocks my view by standing in front of me as he wore a scowl on his face.
"What are you doing here?" Abraham barked at Kat who now showed her genuine emotion, which was fear as Abraham's clone stepped in from beside her, just out of view and holding a taser to her neck. Jerrick ran up beside Abraham, his eyes tearing up.
"Let her go!" He yelled at him, a crack in his voice making him sound weaker. Abraham's clone cocked his head to the side and grinned at Jerrick.
"Jerrick, you've always been my favorite-
"No. Not anymore I'm not." He cut him off.
Abraham stopped grinning, "Get them to my vehicle or else." He held the taser closer to Kat's neck, causing a whimper from her. Jerrick looked at all of us with a pleading look.
"Please, just do it." Jerrick begged us, before he himself, gave himself over and got into his vehicle.
Diego then took out his gun and pointed it towards the fake Abraham, "I'm with the law, you know." His lips curled into another small grin, amused.
"The thing is, the police, the mayor, they're all on my side. They'd throw you all in jail if I told them to." He chuckled to himself, tightening his grip on Kat. She winced loudly in response, her hands on his forearm, attempting to loosen away. Diego sighed heavily to himself, putting his gun away before walking out to the vehicle. Only people left in the house were just West, the real Abraham, James and then myself.
"I can't lose my family again." West mumbled to himself, before walking out with his eyes on the ground. I now stood beside Abraham at the door as we both glared the clone down.
"Everyone's just gonna give in that easily?" I questioned aloud.
"We all have something we don't want to lose." He paused momentarily as his eyes drifted off as if he were pretending to think, "Like our mothers, for example." He smirked at my widened eyes.
"What did you do to her?!" I growled at him, going at him until he taser her neck for a few seconds. She yelled in pain as she struggled frantically in his tight arms.
"Do as I say or else." He gritted his teeth as Kat breathed heavily. Strands of her hair covered her face, but I could see tears streaming down her face. I rushed up to the vehicle without giving it another thought. Shutting the door, the group were mumbling quietly to each other. From where I sat in the vehicle, James barely had to talk to Abraham until he came in the car with the rest of us. Now the real and the clone were alone, face to face.
I sighed before looking over to James in the backseat, "James, what's going to happen? You got to know something." It was silent in the vehicle for a minute until James finally spoke for the first time in a while.
"Abraham has been planning making clones that basically worship him. He wants the entire town to adore him." He explained.
"So why are we in so much trouble?" Jerrick asked, his voice, shaky.
"Because you guys aren't letting that happen. You're prolonging the process." James replied.
"So, then, what's going to happen to us?" I asked him. James watched out the window, the sun going down, it glowing a golden shade.
"I think he's going to finally make us clones, so that we won't ever go against him again." He confessed to us. Just then, the real Abraham sat in the back with the rest of us.
"So?" West asked Abraham who sat down with a heavy sigh. It was a sigh that held many emotions within it, all negative as you could tell on his face. He slowly looked up to West, his face filled with regret.
"This is going to be the end. Of all of us." He states, his eyes turning glossy.
