Chapter 41 Ready For Our Date?

Taylor's P.O.V

It's 4:55 in the afternoon and I better get ready to pick up Shelby and call the place we're going to to make a reservation.

I dial the phone number and it starts ringing.

Lady: Yes how can I help you sir?

Me: Yes I was wanting to make a reservation.

Lady: Okay and what's your name sir?

Me: Taylor Caniff.

Lady: Okay it'll be set up when you get here Mr.Caniff.

Me: Okay and thank you a lot m'am.

I hang up and smile cheerfully.

Okay I got all that set up and I have the necklace and the ring in my pocket and I'm ready to go.

I walk outside to my car and start it up and drive across the street to Shelby's house.

I get out and walk up the little steps and knock on the door.

Her dad opens the door and he greets me inside.

Mr.Ryans: And who may you be young fellow?

Me: I'm Taylor, Taylor Caniff. I'm your daughters boyfriend.

Mr.Ryans: Oh I see, you must be a nice guy. I'm gonna trust you to take care of my daughter alright. I'm gonna have full trust in you little man.

Me: Yes sir, I'll give your daughter full respect and take care of her tonight.

Mrs.Ryans: Well what's taking Shelby so long up there?

Mrs.Ryans: SHELBY get done here, Taylor is waiting for you!

Pretty soon here comes Shelby looking half asleep, I think she just now woke up.

Shelby: I'm sorry guys, I fell asleep at 2 and still been asleep ever since.

Me: Are you ready for our date Ms.Ryans?

Shelby: Why yes I am Mr.Caniff.

Me: Okay then, Mr and Mrs. Ryans I will take great care of your wonderful daughter and protect her with my own life for whatever happens to us.

I shake her dads and moms hand and escort her out to the car.

We get in and I start driving to the dinner place.

Me: Today's a very special night Shelby.

Shelby: It's a special night is it?

Me: Of course it is baby girl.

Could Shelby maybe forgotten about our third month anniversary? Hopefully not.
