3rd Person's POV:
Back at the rendezvous point, almost half of them were laughing and talking about how their mission went.
Some groups fought over something which led them to an even more tight bond of friendship.
While the other ones just arrived late.
Clair and light were also busy checking if everyone was already there.
"Anyone missing light?" Asked clair who was in the opposite direction of light.
"Yeah... There are three missing students here, I don't know who" in which he responded.
Clair rose both of her brow and scratched her head thinking who could they be.
Just then felix, jacob, and enya entered the scene panting heavily as if they were about to die.
Clair: Enya? You're late... What happened?
Enya: Clair I have some very bad news, come with me!
Clair: Why? We have to- WHOA!
Enya quickly dragged clair out of the crowd.
Enya: I have some really really bad news and I'm sure you're not gonna like this....
Clair: what is it?
Enya was a bit hesitant in telling the truth.
Enya: Just promise me you won't tell anyone and I mean anyone understood?!
Clair zipped her mouth to tell her that she can keep a secret.
Clair: I promise.
Enya: Okay....
Enya took a deep breath and gathered all his thoughts together to perfectly tell her the problem..
Enya: The demon we fought earlier...... It's a decoy!
Clair gasped
Clair: A decoy? What do you mean a decoy?
Enya: it's hard to explain, we were surrounded by a group of orbs and thought it was the demon's work but nothings changed apparently.
Clair averted her gaze for a moment and thought of a perfect and logical reason for this.
Clair: The data they gave to us must've been an outdated one, which means during that time, the jinx evolved somewhere else....
Enya: But where?
At this point enya could feel his body shaking and felt like he could pass out any moment.
Clair went back to the crowd and began to ask the other students some questions.
"Does any of you have any power that can see through far places?" She asked briefly.
Enya: Clair! What are you doing?!
"Oh! You could ask edward!" Clair and enya heard Tempest proudly presenting edward who was next to her.
"Me?!" Edward wasn't prepared in any places like this.
Enya and clair rushed over him and asked if he could do a favor for them..
"Please edward, you have to help us, it's an emergency" enya begged as hard as he could.
It was hard for edward because he didn't want to let everyone down but this could also be a chance to make him step on the light.
"Okay, I'll do it, but the only problem is I can't use my power on certain places I don't clearly know" edward said.
Clair thought for a moment when he noticed enya pull out a shard from his pocket.
"Here, try holding this, it's a fragment of what I think the monster left, maybe you could use this to track the rest of it's body!" Enya suggested and hoped for the best to find any clues.
Edward: Wait.... I see something... I think
His words made enya's hope rise even more.
Enya: What do you see?
Enya asked his heart beat rising every second from all of the suspense.
Edward: I can see the full half of it, but it's so blurry I can't describe it properly.
Enya: just tell us what you can describe or see clearly the most.
Edward: okay, okay.... I can see many people, some of them have tails, and I don't think their humans either, they're being surrounded by trees and..........
Enya: and?!
Edward: oh no....... The other half of it.... It's getting stronger and stronger by every minute! Agh!
Edward dropped the shard as he felt his brain almost explode.
Enya: Edward! Are you alright?
Edward: Yeah... I'm fine, I just got a little dizzy that's all..
Enya: good.... But edward, I know this is not properly the way to ask but, do you know the exact location on where the curse is now evolving?
Edward: I don't know the name of the place but all I could see was trees, plants and animals...
Enya: Trees, plants, animals...... Where could that-
Enya gasped loudly as he figured out where the beast could be.
Enya: It's in Covertrus! The Legendary Grove! It's the only place where that beast could be!
Enya began to cast two different portals.
Enya: The others must enter the portal to the left, it will send you back to yosoge, clair come with me...
Light: Wait, I'm going too, I don't know what's happening in here but I can't just watch my fellow classmates risking their life on something I do not understand.
Jacob: yeah me too, I think I know covertrus more than any of you do.
Enya smiled and allowed them to join the others..
Enya: okay, you can come as well, but the rest must go back to yosoge, they might suspect something going on if they find out you're late.
Clair: don't tell anyone about this....
With that, the four left and went to the portal which led to covertrus.
Felix: what was that all about?
