Light's POV:
Professor Fox really tired us with all of his examinations, I couldn't defy it even if it's hard, after all it's for our own good, but clair was still down from what happened to enya.
Once we were given a short break I immediately looked for clair, I wanted to talk to her and to remove her depression, to bring her spirit back again.
I returned to our classroom only to see few of our classmates eating their packed lunch.
"Hey light! Wanna join us?" Felix offered his lunch with me but I politely declined and went back to look for clair.
I ran as as fast as I could, looking for her but at the same time accidentally bumping some of the other students.
I apologized to them but couldn't do it properly for I am still in a rush in looking for clair.
I looked at over the entire school only to find no trace of her.
"Where could she be?"
The first place that came to my mind was her dorm, but I don't think students are allowed to go to their dorm this early.
I soon looked over once more when I noticed a figure in the far far distance, it looks like it's someone, they were just sitting on the huge tree next to them.
"Clair?" I immediately approached this figure, and as suspected, it was her.
She was just sitting there, her head laying against her thighs.
"Clair? You're not alright, please, whatever it is that's bothering you, do tell..." I begged for her to answer me, this problem of hers won't place me at ease.
"I'm fine light, I just want to be alone for awhile...." Her voice was muffled due to her face smushed on her thighs.
"No you're not alright, this is about enya right?"
Clair didn't answer me....
3rd Person's POV:
Light sat next to clair and began to comfort her.
Light: Look, I know you have some type of unbreakable bond with enya.... But he's not forever gone you know..
He'll be back, we just don't know when, we'll have to wait....
He placed a hand on clair's back.
Light: You know, I really can't bear seeing you in a state like this, I always took you as a sadistic but a nice girl.
Seeing you all broken down like this really made me uncomfortable, enya wouldn't like you to be this.
Keep yourself together, he'll be back....
Clair looked at light, her eyes puffy and red forcing herself not to cry.
Clair: You're right, my emotions got the best of me, I'm just nor used being this far away from enya, we were the best of friends, couldn't live without each other,
He's my best friend and sometimes, I look up to him when I can't solve a problem on my own.
Light: Which is why you must train yourself to do things on your own, be independent, rely everything on yourself.
I'm not saying that you shouldn't hang out with enya anymore, what I'm saying to you is be strong, no matter what.
And when enya returns, I'm sure he'll be proud seeing his best friend bloom.
Light's last statement made her smile.
Clair: You're right light, thank you.
She embraced light softly in which light returned the hug.
"Hey guys!" Felix and jacob entered on their sweet moment.
They both let go of each other and immediately stood up.
"What are you doing here? Our next period is about to start, let's go!" Felix said.
"Oh, okay, we'll join you all in a minute" clair waved at the two.
"Okay then, c'mon jacob! Race you there!"
Clair: Light, I really appreciate what you said to me earlier..
Clair gave a smile and a small kiss on light's cheeks.
Clair: See you there
She winked and managed catch up with felix and jacob leaving light flustered.
Light: See you.... There.
He couldn't get over that kiss she gave him.
-- At Class --
Professor Fox: Power! You must now show me what you're all made of, using your given weapon, you must beat these beasts made out of rock. Do your best in order to pass this exam!
Clair: Yes sir!
Felix: wow clair, you suddenly changed mood.
Jacob: Yeah, I saw you earlier all gloomy and stuff now you're energetic, what did you eat?
Clair: nope, I didn't eat anything or did anything to change my mood, I got help from someone special.
Felix: And do we know this someone special of yours.
Clair: It's best if you just mind your own businesses okay?
Jacob: Sheesh, okay.
Professor Fox: On your mark! Get set! Go!
The students began to raid the group of rock beasts.
Clair was the first one who beat one, her spirit was more powerful than ever, thanks to light of course....
