Title from Vampires Will Never Hurt You
Chapter 10- Someone Save My Soul Tonight, Please Save My Soul
I took Lewis into one of the dressing rooms and got him to sit by the sink, grabbing a damp cloth I began to wash away the blood from his arms and wrists. Trying to be as gentle as possible while I was doing this as to not cause him any more pain.
"Thank you for doing this but you really don't have to, I'll be fine," he told me trying to smile. I shook my head as I replied.
"No, you wouldn't have been. It's likely you would have passed out from blood loss and ended up in hospital. Believe that's not fun, at all," I didn't want to scare him too much but I knew what he was going through, hell. "I'm just glad I can help you, just like my friends Matt and Jaimie helped me a while back," I smiled thinking about how the two of them had saved my life countless times.
Once all the blood had been cleaned off I picked up the first aid kit that Laurence had brought in and looked to see what I could use to sort out Lewis' arm. I wrapped up his arm in bandages which was then secured with a safety pin. I looked up into his bright green eyes and saw that the smile had reached them for the first time since we walked backstage. He ran a nervous hand through his blond hair and blushed slightly. The black skinny jeans and Danger Day's shirt he was wearing suited him perfectly and he looked comfortable in what he was wearing but not necessarily with the way he looked, not that he needed to be worried that, not at all.
The small dressing room we were sitting in became very stuffy, very quickly. Soon it was staring to become unbearable in their, tying my hair back I got to my feet. Stretching and offering my hand to Lewis.
"I'm gonna go sit in the corridor, it's probably colder out there. You wanna come?" he took my hand and we walked into the main corridor together. "I'll introduce you to Fearless Vampire Killers and when My Chem come off stage I'll introduce you to them too," Smiling at him and dropping his hand. I didn't want to let him go, not then, not ever but I didn't want to pressure Lewis into liking me if he didn't choose to himself.
5 minutes and Lewis was talking to Kier and Laurence like he'd known them forever. Drew smiled at me and he and Shane came to sit next to me. They gave me a hug each before all of us leant against the wall.
"You were amazing out their Ellie, they loved you," Shane said. I had never been called Ellie before and I wasn't quite sure whether or not I liked the name. Jaimie always called me Elle but Ellie seemed like it was more suited to a younger kid. "And we're proud of you for what you did for him. I think he needed someone to tell him that everything was going to be alright," Shane finished placing his arm around my shoulders causing my cheeks to heat up. Shane had taken his goggles off the top of his head and put his glasses on instead of his contacts, this made him look a hell of a lot different from his costume for on stage. You could see why him and Drew were known as the 'timids'.
When the show finally finished Gerard and Ray checked to make sure that Lewis was alright. Mikey came over to me and held me tight against his chest.
"You were phenomenal honey, no one in the crowd ever guessed you to come out like you did. I'm so proud of you," he gushed looking me in the eye.
"I owe it all to you Dad, if you guys hadn't come when you did I could be dead now," tears fell down my face as that fact came to my attention. My Chemical Romance saved my life more than I ever thought they would.
Lewis went back to his friends who came with him to the concert with him, I hugged him goodbye and gave him my number. He promised he'd call me tomorrow and I believed him. Ray and Frank dragged me out to meet the fans with them against all my protests. I saw the two from the café standing close by, they were only looking at Gerard again. Mikey never left my side as we were meeting some of the fans. One girl began talking to me.
"You were amazing!" she said smiling.
"Thank you, I'm glad someone liked it," I told her grinning.
"I'm Ash, it's a pleasure to meet you," Ash smiled as Gerard came over to join us. "Do you mind me asking how old you are? As you are majorly talented," it seemed like a weird question but I happily answered it.
"I'm 14, 15 in April. You?" I asked attempting to make polite conversation.
"Oh, I'm 16. How exactly did you meet the guys," she asked gesturing to Mikey and Gerard. I didn't like the way she kept looking between the three of us as if noticing the similarities.
"They knew my mother a long time ago," Ash didn't look like she believed what we were saying. Mikey glanced over to Ray to convey that we needed help with this girl. Ray finished with the group he was speaking to before coming over.
"Well, I think it's about time Elena got to bed, we wouldn't want Jaimie to kill us now would we and I know he'd kill us if we kept his little sister up too late," Ray said placing a hand on my shoulder. "Mikey, why don't you take Elle back to the bus, we'll be there in a minute," he patted my shoulder as Mikey and I walked past.
Back on the bus I slid down the door. We needed to decide what was going to happen.
"Mikey, what's going to happen with me? That girl must have thought I was related to you guys somehow, just the way she was looking at us," My head fell to my hands, Mikey sat next to me and put his arm around my shoulders.
"I want you to come live with me and Alicia in America, Elena. I'm going to do what ever it takes for me to be the father that you need and deserve,"
