(I skipped episode 7 because literally nothing happens) Today was the day of Madge and Mel's Wedding. I can say it was certainly a nice day for it. The sun was bright and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. All the Solana staff (including me) were going but sadly only as staff. Still at least we got to go. It was being held at the beach just a few streets away from the hotel. As it was a special occasion my hair was crinkled and loose. It was my signature special occasion hair style. As a member of staff I was told to wear my normal Solana uniform but with a brightly coloured flower necklace around my neck.
I paraded down to the beach from my apartment in a good mood. I always loved weddings. When I got there it was beautiful scene. There was a wooden material running in line to the home made alter. The alter itself was a raised platform with a flower wreath around it. There were rows and rows of chairs for all the guests and they whole scene was littered with flowers. Mel and Mateo were already there when I arrived. Mel was wearing an elegant white and pink suit. I ran over to them. "Hey big day today Mr Harvey" I cheered as I shook his hand in congratulation. Both men looked shocked at my perkiness. I took a deep breath. "Sorry I always get a carried away at weddings" I apologised. "Right as I was just saying to your colleague" he gestured to Mateo. "Nobody gets in if the haven't got a wristband. I don't want any riffraff" he said sternly. Me and Mateo nodded. "No problem boss we take care of it" Mateo reassured putting an arm round my shoulders. "You haven't seen the vicar have you? I asked him to get here early" Mel wondered concerned. I hadn't seen anyone who looked like a vicar today. "Was it reverend Tim you booked?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows. Mel nodded. "Isn't he the one who works in that gay bar in the old town?" I asked Mateo. He knew more of the people than me. "Only on the weekends" Mateo confirmed. Mel face looked confused and dare i say disgusted. "The local vicar works behind a bar in a queer club?". "Oh no no. He not work behind the bar. He is the drag act" Mateo clarified. "Oh yeah now I remember he was the one with the figure fitting pink mermaid dress" I exclaimed. Mateo smiled and nodded remembering when we went in for a dare. The vicar actually wasn't bad. Mel looked horrified now. So much so he made himself scarce. Waves of people came flooding through. I was actually quite hard checking if everyone definitely had one on. It began to die down after a few minutes and I saw Geoff and his mum walk over. I looked at Mateo who looked less than pleased to see him. He stepped in front of Geoff and snarled at him a bit. "Wristband" he spat. Geoff gave Mateo an unbelievable look. I glanced down at his wrist and noticed he wasn't wearing one. "You're taking the piss. You know who I am" he protested. "I took it off cause it was annoying me". "No wristband no entry" Mateo said in a monotone voice. I stepped in at this point. "Mateo are you serious? We literally served him dinner last night at the hotel" I muttered quietly into his ear. Geoff gave him a hopeful look. Mateo turned his head to face me. "No wristband no entry" he repeated slower. "Rules are rules". I glared at him before facing Geoff and I gave him an apologetic look. I mouthed "sorry". He angrily whipped around and sauntered off expecting his mum to follow. "Sod the lot of them" he uttered frustrated. His mum looked unsure. "Um I might go in just for one glass of champagne. Would you mind son? I do love a good wedding" she said excitedly. Before Geoff could answer she skipped of past me and Mateo as we could see she had hers on. Mateo smirked and waved goodbye and Geoff teasingly. I nudged him with my elbow though which made him quickly stop. "Unbelievable" Geoff shouted after his mother as he stormed of.
