Today Janie had planned another free trip for the guests. It was to the waterfalls of Algar which after living in Spain for 7 years I had never seen. Therefore I offered to go with them to help Janie but mostly to check out the scenery. Mateo wasn't joining us this time. He got banned by Janie after the free trip to the theatre. It was a bit of a shock when the curtains opened and he was banging the lead actress on the piano. Anyway today it was just me, Janie and the coach driver of course. It was a gorgeous day for it but most days in Benidorm are.

It was absolutely packed at breakfast due to almost everyone at the hotel going on the trip. I spent my morning clearing plates and wiping down tables so the next lot of guests could sit and eat. The highlight of my morning was when Mateo was clearing Troy and Gavins table and Geoffs mother slapped him across the face.
"You dirty beggar! They're a happily married couple!" She shouted at him. Mateo looked gobsmacked and when she stormed away he clutched his cheek in pain. I came round from the other side of the tables where I was watching.
"Bloody hell. You've been told" I smirked referring to what had just happened. "What did you do this time?" He went to answer but I cut him off. "Oh sorry let me rephrase. Who did you do this time?". I sniggered whilst Mateo frowned at me.
"I don't know who she is taking about. She crazy!" He said defensively. I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Well I suppose that's fair enough" I started. "I mean what she said could be referring to most of the people you've had it off with". With that I walked of to find Janie giggling quietly.

Come mid morning we had arrived at the waterfalls. The view just from where the coach stopped was incredible. I was given the job of ticket and leaflet giver outer. Once everyone was of the coach I began handing out leaflets. There wasn't much written on them to be honest.
"Okay ladies and gentlemen. The lovely Gaby here will momentarily be giving you your tickets and leaflets for the waterfalls of Algar" Janie informed the guests and I was passing guests their tickets. "These tickets entitle you to full access of all areas your Solana's picnic and a complimentary glass of Nispero liqueur". I finished with the leaflets so I went over and stood next to the coach leaning my back on it.
"Um what is nispero?" Mel wondered sounding concerned. Janie looked like she didn't really know the answer so I covered her.
"It's this little fruit grown around this region. It's good stuff".
"Hey! Let's get piss pero on nispero" Mick joked from amongst the crowd.
"She said one glass" Janice said sternly to her husband.

We were all walking along the side path that over looked the river leading up to the waterfalls. The water was lovely clear and apart from the sound of Madge wingeing it was lovely and peaceful. Well it was until her whole family started having a full blown argument right at the front of the line to get free drinks. I would've tried to break it up or at least listen to what they saying however I was sadly stuck at the back.

About 20 minutes later we finally made it to the waterfalls. Oh my god it was worth the journey. It was beautiful. The water was a cool blue and pleasantly warm not at all like the pool back at the hotel. This wasn't full of pensioner piss for a start. The sun reflected of it causing it to sparkle. I would've happily gone in for a swim but sadly I had to stay out of water incase guests had questions. I did however bring my camera. I set it up at the perfect angle so I got the whole of the falls into it and so the sun shone just right. I took about five photos to make sure it was perfect. Word got out that I brought a professional camera with me and some guests were willing to pay 5€ for me to take there picture. Taking pictures of old people by a waterfall wasn't exactly how I wanted to spend the remainder of my morning but at least I was getting money.

After an hour or two of admiring the waterfall I was called over by Janie to help her give out the Solana packed lunches. I carried the tray of white paper bags whilst Janie handed them out. People didn't seem impressed by the quality of the lunches. Janie dished out the meals to Madges tribe and we went to move on to the next family. However mick had something to say.
"Is this it? Sandwich and a bag of crisps?". Janie whipped around.
"What'd you expect in a packed lunch a Christmas dinner?" She fired back at him.
"It's not very exciting is it?" He complained. I groaned as his moaning.
"I'm not being funny but if you get excited over exotic food you wanna get a life" I shot.
"If your that desperate for excitement go look at the waterfall again" Janie added. We spun around and resumed handing out the rubbish dinners. I could hear the family arguing behind me.
"You're just upsetting everybody! Go for a walk!" Janice voice boomed behind me. I turned round to see the whole family looking annoyed at Mick.
"Where am I supposed to walk to? We're in the middle of bloody nowhere" he shouted back.
"Just go!" Madge shrieked. Mick defeatedly slammed his sandwich to the floor and stood up. He walked off to nowhere in particular.
