I woke up to sounds of the birds singing and the fresh smell of the early morning. I sat up looking at the love sack realizing i had fallen asleep in Ace's arms and he must of placed me in bed and left. The feeling of knowing I felt safe in his arms last night gave me goosebumps. Why the hell was I feeling like this. I cant love him. That's not who I am. I'm supposed to be the independent baddie who kills everyone not some simp for a guy who's the devil.

I'm gonna ignore him all day today no way am I letting him get into my head. I thought to myself before getting up and cleaning my bed and making my way to the bathroom to get dressed.

I checked myself in the long mirror and smiled in satisfaction and grabbed my notebook and laptop to go work on some plans and made my way down the stairs.

I glanced over at the time "6:52 AM" I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch and opened my laptop to start working on the security plans for the warehouse.

About 15 minutes go by and I assumed it was Jordan but it was the devil himself. I glanced up at him and looked back down as he made his was into the living room and sat at the end of the couch unlocking his phone.

"How the hell and why the hell are you up so early?" He question with his eyebrows furrowed looking at me.

"I'm always up early" I blandly stated while still looking down at my laptop.

I heard him stand up but I thought he was walking to the kitchen. But no. He walked over to me lifting up my chin to look at him.

"Look at me when you talk to me" he said with a dark voice.

I glared up at him and he let go letting me get back to work as he went back and took his seat.

I saw Jordan walking down the stairs going to unlock the front door.

"Morning Aurora" He said looking over at me with a smile unlocking the door for Caroline to come in.

"Good morning guys" I said looking up at the couple with a smile.

They both made their way towards me as Caroline sat next to me on the couch and Jordan went behind the couch and rested his elbows on the edge and peered over my shoulder to view the screen.

I took about 15 minutes explaining my security plans and finished off by glancing over at Ace who was stunned at my idea.

"I swear you have the brains of Einstein when it comes to these things. This plan is perfect." She said looking over at me with a big smile.

"Sometimes I forget you're 17 when it comes to these things." Jordan said looking down at me. "But this plans perfect when dad wakes up after the 11:30 meeting we can present this to him" He patted my shoulder before looking over at Ace.

"You're 17?" Ace questioned in surprise.

"Turing 18 very soon" Caroline said with a smile. But me and Jordan exchanged a sad glance.

When I was 16, my father made a deal with me stating that I was never allowed to fall in love until i'm given an arranged engagement when I turn 18. He says this because he fears I will fall for someone who would destroy our mafia. This deal was never a problem to me because I wasn't ever looking for love.

"17 and never had her first kiss yet" Jordan smirked teasingly.

"Never had her first kiss, never held hands with a guy, never hugged a guy, still a virgin, and never had a boyfriend." Caroline went about as you just stared down at the laptop.

"Wait no she held hands and hugged Ace yesterday." She squealed as you shot her a death glare.

"I'll shut up now" she said calming down earning a chuckle from Ace and Jordan.

It was almost time for the meeting about why we had to make the alliance with the Grey's. I got up and let the three talk among themselves and went to go get ready.

I wore a black button up top that was tucked into my maroon skirt and let my hair down. I always dressed up for meeting regardless if it was a minor or major meeting.

I checked my phone to see it was almost time as I made my way down the long hallway to the left wing of the estate where the large meeting room was.
