It's been fucking 82 hours since i've heard a word come from Aurora. And I hate it.

I hate it how my life was so easy. I was given everything at a young age, was loved, protected, and taken care of. While she was somewhere else in the world being beaten, threatened, pushed closer and closer to her death. At such a young fucking age. Why couldn't it be me? Why couldn't I have seen her earlier? Why couldn't I take away the aching pain my poor little sister had to go through every. damn. day.

And most importantly, how does she do it? Fought for her life ever since she was born. And not just her life, but her mother's as well.

Ace hadn't come to see Aurora much since the first day. He's been a lot more aggressive one might call it but he's been improving a lot. Now don't get me wrong, i'm well aware of what's been going on with Aurora and Ace but if he so call loves her, why has he been staying back and training extra? Shouldn't he be here, in my place, with her?

Confuses me a bit but oh well.

"Ace said he's gonna be home late" Alec says breaking the silence that lingered in the air. "Are we surprised" Blake says letting out a weak scoff.

None of us had gotten sleep in the last 3 days, pure fear that she wakes up alone or the monitor starts beeping.

"Has Ace said a word about her? Or even ask if she's okay?" Zayn asks looking up.

"Nope."

Not surprised.

"What's his deal? Bitch was literally heads over heels for her and now when she's practically on edge he's just gone? I knew he would do this but i've never seen Aurora so happy. And now knowing she's on edge for two more months why can't he just fucking understand" Care groans out of frustration before falling into my arms clinging on to me.

"Actually, I do fucking care."

We all turn towards the door to be greeted by the devil himself.

Ace fucking Grey.

"Huh what a shocker to see you here" Alec scoffs looking away from him shaking his head.

"You can leave she wouldn't wanna see you and neither do we."

If he didn't look pissed already he looks like the devil consumed him ready to kill us all. Besides Aurora, I hope. But he doesn't do anything. He simply slams the door and leaves.

"Good morning."

It's 4:47 AM when we all turn to see where the faint voice had come from.

And there she is.

She awake, smiling, faded thunder storming the forest in her eyes. The calm after the storm.

"You have the fucking audacity to die for almost 5 whole fucking days and you wake up like you just had cotton candy saying good morning" I grit out of my teeth as she furrows her eyebrows at me.

"Well i'm sorry God didn't give me a freaking calendar of which days i'll be knocked out. Not my problem. Also what's with the sad looks? I'm awake and alive losers."
