I got dressed and ended up wearing a maroon silk mini dress with some jewelry and black heels. I was dreading tonight not wanting to go at all but Caroline had been talking about it since last year how excited she was for this. I felt someone's large hands tickle up on to the sides of my body when I turned around about to punch whoever it was.

"Jesus I was trying to scare you" Ace said ducking his head from the punch. "I was this close from punching you" I said looking up at him bring my index finger and thumb close together to show him.

"Punch me I dare you" He said fixing his posture so he was up straight. "Imagine i'm your real parents, punch me" I looked over at him as my smile faded at the thought of those monsters. All the anger and sadness I had built up was about to be release just for a bit. I smiled up at Ace who was confident that it wasn't going to hurt.

Ace reminds me so much of my real father. His evil smile and pure gestures that could guilt anyone into loving him but once you're below the surface he's nothing but a heartless and ruthless monster.

Without any warning, I punched him in the stomach causing him to fall back and hit his head on the edge of the bed frame and fall to the ground.

"Fuck Aurora what the hell was that" He said groaning with his eyes shut tight. "You asked for punch so I gave you a punch" I said playfully as I helped him sit up. I thought he was joking and faking the injury but he was actually hurt.

"Wait no i'm so sorry Ace" I said feeling bad and helping him to the love sack in the corner of the room. I unbuttoned his shirt to see I had left a bruise on his stomach. Shit why did I do this. I went over to the night stand and pulled out some numbing ointment and an instant ice pack and gave it to him to place on the back of his head as I applied the cream to his stomach trying my best to not stare at his toned and perfect abs.

"Don't worry about it love it's okay" he said in a soft voice looking over at me. I gave him a small smile before going to put the med kit back in the nightstand.

"Aurora! Ace! You guys ready yet?" I heard Jordan's voice yell as he came up and opened the door to reveal Ace laying back and me to the side of him. "What the hell happened?" Jordan said coming closer as Caroline came following behind.

"I punched him by accident" I said looking up at the two. "How the fuck do you punch him by accident?" Caroline said looking at me with confusion. "I told her to punch me it's nothing it doesn't hurt anymore" Ace said defending me as he sat up buttoning his shirt up again.

"So do we still have to go tonight?" I asked hoping they would say no. "Nope too late already told Micha we're coming" Jordan said smiling. Ugh why is Jordan so happy to go tonight, he usually never wants me going out.

"Limos gonna be here in an hour just letting you know." Jordan stated as he walked out the room with Caroline.

I groaned out of annoyance earning a chuckle to slip out from Ace's lips. I hopped onto the bed and took off my shoes and looked over at him admiring his features. Perfect body, rock hard abs, his large hands that were always decorated in rings, his face looked like it was sculpted by the gods, everything about this man was perfect. But I'm not gonna make the mistake and let him get under my skin and break me like he's s probably done to every other girl he's been with. I can't let him take that advantage of me.
