So this is going to be a long chapter, and since I've finally worked out that most people only want chapters to be several pages long, I'm finally going to adhear to this unspoken social rule! =D Anyway, the parts are still going to be long- sorry!- but hey. I'll get there. Baby steps, right? lol
I'm a little worried whether you guys like the story cause you're all silent, especially since I feel like I'm taking forever to reveal stuff or have stuff happen. Like Tristan and Fiche moments (do you like those??) I hope so, because this chapter has a bunch of them!!!! This is a long author's note, so I'm going! Enjoy! And please comment so I know you did!!!

61. Have breakfast at midnight
88. Spend a night in our treehouse
90. Jump into a jello pool
27. Jump into a pool fully clothed
The sun had long since gone down, but that hadn't stopped us from whipping out our trillion flashlights (not really, more like three) and placing them around the treehouse on the shelves made from the framework of our little sanctuary. We'd collected our supplies from the ute and so the space was filled with the best things ever: i.e. dozens of pillows and sleeping bags. Sean's Mum— Beth— had given us a rug to lay on the floor, to make it warmer and nicer, so the prospect of sleeping on the wooden floor was taken away. The four of us had since changed into our pyjamas and as Beth had just deposited a tray full of steaming mugs of hot chocolate, we were all bundled up amongst our piles of softness sipping the chocolatey goodness.
Whilst arguing about whether a movie about giant rampant gummy bears was more likely to be a horror movie or a sappy kids movie.
Did I mention how weird our conversations could be? Hmm.
"Yeah, but the Care Bears freaked me out as a kid, so just because giant, supposed-to-be-adorable-bears-but-are-actually-really-really-scary-bears act like the Tele Tubbies, doesn't mean they're going to be friendly," Lea said.
"You were scared of the Care Bears?!" I asked incredulously. Those pastel coloured teddy bears jumping around on clouds doing wonderfully caring things freaked her out?
"They all grinned evilly and acted like they had ulterior motives!"
"Oh yeah, because high-pitched happy bears are even capable of wanting to come haunt your room," Jase rolled his eyes. He'd been forced to watch the show with me before he stole the DVDs and smashed them beyond recognition. And then he'd forced me to watch the Star Wars movies as payback. Shame that plan backfired on him when I loved it just as much as he did...
"They were not nice bears!" she protested. "They gave me the creeps, like those freaky clowns in movies." She shuddered.
"I can't believe you just compared the Care Bears of all things to the scary clowns in movies!" Sean said in disbelief.
Lea glowered at the lot of us. "I hate you all. Shall I force you to watch the spider bit in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, hmm, Fiche? Or The Mask, Sean? Or Bob the Builder, Jase?"
Jase scoffed. "I am not scared of Bob the freaking Builder! In your dreams, sweetheart!"
I rolled my eyes. Just because I hated spiders...
"Come here, babe," Sean muttered, sliding his hand behind Lea's head and pulling her in for a kiss. I glanced at Jase, who grinned mischievously before opening his mouth.
