-Corpse's POV-

Corpse got up and looked over the sea of boxes in his room. Not having the energy to unpack, or the time, he dragged himself downstairs and took his meds. "Morning mama," Corpse said as he drank water. "Good morning, hun," Corpse's mom, Calla, replied. Corpse went into the bathroom and brushed his hair and teeth. Then he went to his room and changed into black ripped jeans and a baggy black hoodie. He grabbed his phone, earbuds, and mask, and walked back downstairs. "I gotta go to work mama," Corpse said. Calla frowned. "Can we please talk about you going back to school.." Calla begged, standing up from her spot at the kitchen table. "I'm not going back to school.." Corpse said calmly. He had dropped out of school at 12 after his father had kicked him and his mom out and they had to move states. "Please.. What if you run into Kira again..?" Calla said. Corpse stopped at the door. "Then I run into Kira." Corpse said. He walked out the door and walked to his work. He worked at a small boba shop near his neighborhood. He pulled his mask on and clocked in. After he clocked in, Corpse walked to his coworkers and waved hi, shaking from his anxiety. His manager gave him the rundown and Corpse nodded. "One more thing, kid," the manager said. Corpse lifted his head and looked at the manager. "You're gonna have to talk.." the manager said. Corpse nodded. "Okay.." he mumbled. "Holy shi-" the manager cut himself off. "Anyway good luck, and let me know if you need any help," Corpse nodded and the manager left. "Fuck," Corpse mumbled to himself. He adjusted his mask and watched customers walk in. "here, take this one! He's easy, he gets the same thing each time," his coworker, Adara had said. "Okay," Corpse said and walked to the counter. "Welcome in, what can I get you?" Corpse said. "Woah- s-sorry! Can I get a strawberry milk tea with the poppy strawberry boba thingies??" The customer said. He had soft brown hair that fell perfectly in his face and beautiful brown eyes. He had a soft jawline and a baggy dark red hoodie draped over his body. "Okay," Corpse said, typing it in. "that'll be $6.95.. And the name for that?" Corpse asked. The boy drew back a little, as if confused and slightly afraid. "Uh-" he replied. "His name is Sykkuno," Adara chimed in. Corpse nodded and put it in the system. "I'll have that out for you soon," Corpse said. "Did I do good?" he asked, turning to Adara as Sykkuno walked away from the counter. "You did lovely!" Adara replied with a smile. "Now I'm gonna go bother him, he's my friend!" Adara smiled more and walked to where Sykkuno was waiting at the counter. "Wait- I don't know how to make the drink.." Corpse said. "I forgot it was your first day," Adara giggled. She ran back over and helped make the drink. Then she went back to talking to Sykkuno as Corpse waited for another customer to come in.
