Chapter 10

-Sykkuno's POV-
It's been weeks since corpse and sykkuno had gone to the place in the meadow. Corpse was all caught up on sschoo. Sykkuno was helping corpse study for the placement test which was in two days. Corpse put his head in his hands and sykkuno frowned. "corpse let's take a break okay?" Sykkuno said quietly. Corpse nodded. "corpse it's gonna be okay. I promise" Sykkuno said. "I'm just scared.. I'm scared to see if my friend is still in this town.." corpse mumbled and put his head on the table. Sykkuno moved some hair out of corpse's eyes. "you still have me and Ardara" Sykkuno said reassuringly. Adara had apologized to corpse and begged him to forgive her. She even bought him coffee. So of course he did. It was Sykkuno's idea. Especially after Sykkuno explained to Adara what the hoodie meant to corpse. Sykkuno saw corpse had closed his eyes and he let out a small laugh. "sleepy?" he asked. corpse nodded softly. "take a nap if you can. I'll make you a snack" Sykkuno smiled. Corpse got up and laid on the couch. "you don't have to make me a snack it's okay" corpse said. "I'm gonna. if you don't wanna eat it I won't make you but I'mma make it anyway" Sykkuno smiled brightly and walked to his kitchen. he made raisin bread since it was corpse's favourite. he froze, remembering when he made raisin bread with Yukio. "if only Yuki would come back.." sykkuno mumbled. He looked up and saw corpse draped over the couch and smiled softly. He cut the bread into small slices and watched as corpse woke up. He walked to corpse and handed him a plate with two pieces of bread. "I thought you might like it" Sykkuno said quietly. "Thank you" corpse said. He ate a bit as Syk made jokes and talked about random things. "let's get back to work?" Sykkuno asked. Corpse nodded and smiled.
