Chapter 12

-Sykkuno's POV-

Sykkuno was so proud of Corpse for going through school and working. He always made sure to help Corpse keep up as well. Corpse always tried to go to class and did everything he could to stay up. So when Corpse didn't show up to school for a couple days, Sykkuno got worried. Once school was over, he went straight to Corpse's house. "Sykkuno? what are you doing here?" Calla asked as she opened the door. "Corpse hasn't been at school.. I'm just a bit worried" Sykkuno said softly. "Yeah, no worries. come on in, hes in his room" Calla said walking with Sykkuno. "poor thing hasn't been doing too well lately with his illness.. and it's shattered his mental health.." she said softly. Sykkuno frowned with the thought of his friend being in any sort of pain. They walked to Corpse's room and knocked. "come in" Corpse called, his voice sounding exhausted and drained. "hey hun. sykkuno is here" Calla said softly. Corpse sighed. Sykkuno walked in and frowned. Corpse was laying on his back watching TV. He didn't look exactly comfortable. His hair fell in front of his face like it always did. "hey sykkuno" Corpse said without looking over. "hey corpse.. are you alright?" sykkuno asked. "I'm okay. just not feeling good and.. can't really move" Corpse mumbled the last part. "want company?" Sykkuno asked quietly. "please" corpse replied. Sykkuno nodded and laid down on the bed with corpse. Calla left the room, shutting the door behind her. Sykkuno cuddled up to corpse and talked to him about what he'd missed in school. He yawned softly, slowly falling asleep as he talked to corpse. He hoped he wasn't bothering corpse as he talked. When he finally fell asleep, he dreamed of meeting Yukio again and him, corpse, and Yukio, and whoever corpses friend was, becoming best friends.
