-Sykkuno's POV-
Shock filled Sykkuno's body as Corpse spoke to him. "Come on, let's get this over with," Corpse said, walking toward a table. Sykkuno followed inside and waved as Calla walked up to her room. She waved back with a kind smile. Sykkuno sat down next to Corpse. "So.. your mom didn't tell me much about where we are studying from.." Sykkuno said softly. "Uhm. 12.. So uhm.. About.. 7th grade.." Corpse mumbled. "Okay! What subject should we start with?" Sykkuno asked. "Whichever one is important. I'm not doing the worthless classes." Corpse said. "Okay, let's do math!" Sykkuno smiled.
He dropped out at 12..? Oh jeez..As Sykkuno went on tutoring Corpse, he couldn't help but get distracted by Corpse's rings, or his mask, or his hair, or just his presence in general.
He's very pretty..
Corpse looked over at Sykkuno and tilted his head with confusion. "Dude? You okay?" he asked. "Huh? Oh yeah I just spaced for a second!" Sykkuno said, "sorry!!" he continued. For a second, he could have sworn he saw a smile in Corpse's eyes, but he brushed it off as he was being crazy. "So tell me, Sy," Corpse started. "Why stay in school?" Corpse asked. "Oh! Well mainly because my parents make me, but my friends are there and it's nice to meet new people, even though I'm not always so social.." Sykkuno said. "Sounds horrid.." Corpse replied. "I only have one friend in this town and I haven't seen, let alone talked to him in 10 years.." Corpse said softly. "My mom keeps trying to get me to go to school saying he will be there, but what are the odds.." Corpse mumbled. "You never know, you could find him!" Sykkuno replied. "Yeah but what then? What do i say? 'Hey sorry for dropping off the face of the earth for 10 years but look I'm back'? And what if he's different? What if we don't get along anymore?" Corpse said, heavily overthinking. "Corpse. Breathe. If he's different then so what? You've always got me if you wanna be friends! And you have Adara too! And I can introduce you to my friends Rae and Toast!!" Sykkuno smiled. He wanted to be friends with Corpse so bad, he didn't actually understand it completely. "Okay, okay.. I'm still not going to school, though." Corpse replied. "You don't have to," Sykkuno said, simply. "We finished the work, though. So now I'll really see you tomorrow," Sykkuno giggled. "Alright, be safe," Corpse said with a small chuckle. Sykkuno gathered his things and left. He walked home, happily humming. He walked inside and said hi to his parents. Then he went up to his room, did his homework, and ended up falling asleep at his desk, not eating dinner.
A/N: Warning now, chapter six has a trigger warning. Chapter 5 might as well. They hold mentions of violence and domestic ab*se. Skip the chapter if you need to, I will put a small recap in the next chapter's start :)
