-Corpse’s POV-
Sykkuno was at Corpse’s work all day. Corpse didn’t mind too much, though. Once he clocked out, he realized Sykkuno was leaving as well.
Weird
Corpse checked his phone and walked out the shop with Sykkuno. “Soooo is your name actually Corpse? Is it a preferred name?” Sykkuno asked. “Is your name actually Sykkuno?” Corpse asked. “Well no, but it’s preferred. My legal name reminds me too much of my old friend..” Sykkuno said. “That’s odd. But interesting.” Corpse replied. “What about you?” Sykkuno asked. “More or less the same,” Corpse replied and checked his maps to see where he was going. “Shoot. I need to get going. I’ll see you tomorrow, though!” Sykkuno said and ran down a street. Corpse smiled softly. He walked into his house and took his mask off. “I’m home!” he said. “Hi hun, how was work?” Calla asked. Corpse smiled and told her all about it, including Sykkuno and Adara. Calla smiled. “Mama.. what are you hiding from me,” Corpse asked. “Well, I got you a tutor.. If you’re not going to school you’re going to at least learn the basics of school through a tutor.” Calla said. “Are you fucking serious?!” Corpse said, anger coming through his voice. “Yes i am serious! You need to learn something!” Calla replied, upset. “UGH!” Corpse whined. “I don’t like school and I don’t like learning. I fucking told you I didn’t want a tutor and I didn’t want to go to school. We talked about this!” Corpse said. “But you’d go to the same school as kira!” Calla protested. “I don’t care!!” Corpse snapped. “I hate school!” he yelled. He walked upstairs, slammed his door shut, and punched the wall. “Why didn’t she just fucking listen,” he mumbled and sat down on his bed. His mind wandered to the boy from the boba shop.
I bet his life is better.
A few minutes later, Corpse was met with a knock on his door. “Leave.” he replied. There was another knock. Corpse pulled himself up and opened the door. “What.” he demanded. “I’m sorry but I really want you to do good in life.. And I want you to be proud of yourself like I’m proud of you.. Please just try it out for a few weeks.. If you don’t like it we can stop..” Calla said softly. “Fine..” Corpse mumbled. “I’m sorry I snapped..” Corpse said. He hated when he got too mad as he reminded himself of his dad. That was not something he wanted. Calla hugged Corpse lightly and heard a knock at the front door. “That’s your tutor,” Calla said, softy. Corpse nodded. They walked downstairs and Corpse pulled his mask on as Calla opened the door. “Hi! I’m Sykkuno!” the boy from the boba shop beamed. “Guess you get to see me earlier than expected, huh?” Corpse said. “Hi! It’s nice to see you again!” Sykkuno smiled. “Well that’s new. Come on let’s get this over with.” Corpse said, mood dropping. Sykkuno nodded and walked inside, following Corpse to the kitchen table. Calla went up to her room for the time being.
