A small smirk was plastered on the Young Park's face for quite a while.

Why do you ask?

Well for starters his childhood friend was glued a little too much to his humam friend, and his brunette friend was not minding it rather was doing the same too.

The smirk that was plastered on his face only grew more, as the human suddenly grabbed the vampire's hand excitedly pulling him towards the car game in the arcade, while Jimin following them behind, who was not really interested in any of the games present there.

Jungkook and Taehyung failed to notice Jimin's constant smirk and observation on them as they were in their own little world with games.

After, what felt like for a life-time for Jimin, the two decided to stop playing as Jungkook's stomach growled pretty loudly making the other two laugh at him, making the bunny's cheek slightly red.

Exiting the arcade they straight went to the food court to order their foods.

Seeing them even people around thought that they have being starved for weeks; specially with the amount of food they ordered.

3 special burger sets with coke combo, chicken half and half (Korean crispy chicken, they taste heavenly), 2 large pizzas alongwith 2 pies and one large ice cream sundae as dessert.

People were outright staring at the amount of food that was ordered by those 3 trimmed, handsome, princely looking boys.
Nobody could believe that they can complete that amount of food. Few people, who went there with their friends, even started betting about it.

The 3 of them, not caring about the stares from passer-bys, started to munch on their foods hungrily.

All those games and running around the arcade absolutely made Jungkook and Taehyung famished and running behind them all day made Jimin famished too.

Even though Jimin first thought he won't be playing any games but Taehyung's doe eyes pleadingly looking at him with a small pout made him cave and play along with them.

There's something with Taehyung which made Jimin hard to say no. Maybe the boy's innocence? Or smile? He doesn't get it. But he knows one thing for sure, whatever it is, his vampire inside him wants to protect this little angel no matter what.

He still remembers how Jungkook described the same feeling towards the human even when they just new him for hardly for few days.

The food infront of them vanished in mere 20 minutes making the people, who were staring at them, drop their mouth open in shock.

Having their belly full the two gamers slid down the couch comfortably, that they were sharing, with a satisfactory smile placed on their face.

The smirk returned again on Jimin's face as he noticed the position of the two infront of him. He discreetly took out his phone, making sure to mute the shutters of the camera, and clicked a picture.

Feeling that someone is staring at him, the vampire opened his eyes and looked at his mochi friend raising an eyebrow,

"What?"

"Nothing.. just enjoying my view" Jimin replied while his eyes showed a hint of teasing.

Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows trying to catch what Jimin was trying to imply, when he felt a slight weight on his back and a soft snore.
His eyes widen immediately as he realised what happened and why his best friend was smiling like an idiot.

The human and him were leaning comfortably with their heads and almost half of their body resting against eachother.

What made Jungkook more in daze was the feeling of contentment inside him. As if it was natural.

Jungkook closed his eyes and placed his nose on Taehyung's head inhaling deeply. The human's scent made his vampire side calm and at home. His scent was home. As if he was his home.

As if his heart knew about this feeling too, for this particular human. But why? His brain didn't help him find the amswer. It's was like a deja vu for his heart.

Seeing Jungkook inhale Taehyung's scent and which also made him relax like that made Jimin knot his eyebrows and widen his eyes little.

He remembered what his family and even Yoongi said about scenting, for their potential mates.
And to a human if his mate is around, the vampire's scent can lul him to sleep and comfort him.

Jimin gasped softly but quickly shook his head dismissing the thought. Maybe both of them are exhausted because, well they after all played for hours and then had a lot of food.

Yes.. yes, maybe because of that only. He is just overthinking. Or maybe his not...?

Jimin bit his lip nervously eyeing the two infront. Damn if it's really the case that his brain was hinting him then....
Jimin sighed softly with a small smile in face thinking,

'Damn Jungkook about time now you get settled..'

But again he won't alert his friends by revealing his observation to them. For now he will just keep an eye on them more.

He can't alert them of being each other's potential mate. Because the topic of 'mate' is quite a sensitive matter for a vampire. So observing is his best option for now.

Speaking of mate.. Jimin chewed on his lower lip and stared at the name on his contact list and sighed, wondering what was the asshole doing..? Will he be there at the Park Residence today too..? Then they could talk abou-....

Jimin gasped at his own train of thought. He must be just too tired to think like this. Damn he just needs rest.
Yes that's correct, he only needs some rest to stop his ridiculous train of thoughts....
That's it ... Yeah ........

And guys from time to time I ask suggestions from you guys for stories, to which you guys reply and give me wonderful stories to read, for which am very very thankful to you. But guys please don't send me heavy angst or sad ending. My heart doesn't do well after I read one and I really don't want to be sad. Our real life is suffering enough due to covid and I really don't need this damp feeling inside me grow more.
So please please please when u guys send me stories, don't send me sad ones.

And drink lots of water my flowers, the heat is becoming unbearable day by day.
