51. A Hope; A Devil's Call

The past few day I somehow rested and dedicated my time in writing and spending time with people I love and cherish and also pamper myself~
I also started painting again and clicking pictures~
Also I couldn't stop myself from posting so here we are.
And this chapter will have lots of grammatical errors which I will edit later. It's above 2.5k words so please go easy on me flowers 😅.
Okay so now let's continue with the story.

The servants of the Min Mansion tried their best not to make a single sound as the walked around the mansion, attending to their daily chores.

20 minutes earlier when their Lord returned with his guests, he strictly mentioned that he did not wanted to be disturbed.

The drive to the Mansion was already awkwardly quiet for the three cousins. Each of the sides had many questions for each other.

So once they got seated comfortably in the office room a small sigh escaped from each of them at the same exact moment causing the three of them laugh, making the atmosphere of the room comfortable.

After the chuckling session ended Yoongi cleared his throat and started,

"So.. how have you two been all these centuries?"

The Kim brothers stopped and looked at each other before the elder continued.

"We have been alive.. somehow.."

Yoongi only nodded his head, understanding what his eldest cousin meant.
When both of their mates were taken away from them half of their souls got damaged.

In vampire society if you are soul bonded with your mate, it's a life time promise that you are giving to each.
It's purest of the bond one can have.

And if one's mate is taken away, against their will, from them, their and their partner's soul will get damaged.
It's considered that even death is better than taking away their mates in their society.
If one of the mates passes away the ties of bond between the two mates will be broken and the one's who's is still alive, will somewhat recover, but never fully.

It can be only recovered if their mate gets reincarnated and they again gets bonded. But chances of getting reincarnation are like thrice in ten thousand.

After the massacre, there were hardly any vampires who exchanged the purest soul bond with their mates anymore after that out of fear of the pain.
Being a vampire and being a soul bonded in vampire society, is always not blissful for everyone.

Junmyeon and Jongin's soul got damaged after the first wave of abduction when their mates got abducted by those bastards. And their soul were never got better.
Which indicated that both of them were alive, and the duo didn't know if it was a good thing or not.
Because if they were alive and free, they both would have returned to their side by now but that didn't happen, so it can only be..

Yoongi shuddered at the thought. He wondered what would his condition would have been if he lost Jimin after they had mated and bonded..

Soul bonding ceremony used to be a pride for every vampire few centuries ago. But all it reminds to the old vampires are fear and pain.
The new vampires who born in the later years only heard stories about these, but even the stories alone scared them so much that they didn't try it.
