16. Are you worthy to be my Mate?

My life schedule is becoming tougher by the day so it's really hard to keep the updates as scheduled.

~3rd P.O.V.~

"If you are trying to jump off the balcony and run away it won't work, you know that right?" a voice suddenly said from behind, the now agitated brunette boy who was exactly planning to do so.

Looking back to the owner of the voice Jimin frowned a little before sighing out deeply.

"What do you expect me to do? When you guys suddenly push down an unfamiliar male Lord vampire to me and plan on arranging my mating to him?"

The voice chuckled little even though he was very well nervous,

"Well even if you ran off, your brother would have put all his military source to bring you back to the mansion, you know that right?"

Glaring daggers at the man next to him Jimin crossed his hands on his chest turning towards him.

"You know that I love you but at times like this when you say everything correct, much to my annoyance, I hate you"

Baekhyun couldn't hold back his laughter anymore and bursted out laughing. Jimin pressed his lips tighter while narrowing his eyes.

"Don't narrow your eyes too much Jiminah, you won't be able to see then" with that Baekhyun started another round of his loud laughter.

Jimin only gaped at him at first before squatting Baekhyun's forearm and growling about how annoying it was to be teased all the time.

After Baekhyun's laughter died down, both the men stared quietly outside watching the far away street lights of the city. Their mansion was little bit far from the main city, 30 mins away by car to be precise. Well not only theirs, but every mansion of the Noble vampires were surrounding the city like a barricade.

Why...? Well it was a "Rule" to "Protect" the weak and normal human and vampires and also now werewolves, few rarely started staying in the city now, which was not so in the past, made by their annoying ancestors.

"You know.. it's going to be alright Jiminah.. I or especially your brother won't let anyone make you as their mate right? You are too precious to us.."

"I know.. I am just scared.. I don't even know him.. you out of all people should know that how much I wanted to find my love and then settle down.."

"It's not like we are forcing you already to mate him, you know. It's just a meet up..."

"Which is supposed to be turning into a wedding soon.."

"Well who knows you might fall "deeply" in love with him by then and will be begging us to make the wedding sooner.."

Jimin snorted pouting a little, he knew no matter what Baekhyun will only make out the positive outcomes of every single situations like always.

And the way he said the word deeply.. okay Jimin won't lie, it irked him somehow knowing how much Baekhyun teased him with that single word.. he never should have mentioned to him like that when he was a kid. It's embarrassing for him now and he "deeply" regrets it.

"Looks like our guest is almost here Jiminah.."

Out of the blue Baekhyun mentioned slightly patting the back of the younger one, bringing him back to the present.

Jimin gazed up the path to see a black Lamborghini car, was heading towards their mansion's path.
Groaning he straightened up, dusting off the invisible dust from his suit, while heading back to his room.

"Aren't you coming down to greet him Jimin?" Baekhyun asked softly knowing well that the younger was still not ready yet.

Jimin snorted softly giving a side glance to the older while replying,

"A Prince decides his own entrance with elegance. Don't worry I will be there in short. "

Hearing the younger's reply Baekhyun laughed a little and relaxed a bit knowing that he won't be eloping for the day anymore at least.

When Jimin was left alone in the room he looked at his reflection, for the final check and nodded in satisfaction smirking.

"Well well well.. Min Yoongi are you really worthy to be the mate of such a perfect and beautiful vampire? Let's see what you have got.." he whispered to himself, not knowing what the fate has already decided for him in his pockets.
