A tensed atmosphere was almost visibly present at the breakfast table in the Park Residence.

Early in the morning after waking up, the head of the Park Family and Jimin's would-be mate had hours of discussion in the office room of the mansion.

At that time no one was allowed to go near the room. Shockingly not even the House Lord's mate, which never happened before.

When they woke up, they got news from the local Police chief and their University that people went missing from the forest behind their University in the past few days.

Hearing the news both Chanyeol and Yoongi, with a very strict voice, commanded them to stay put at home and not to come near the office room.

Seeing his mate like this Baekhyun was agitated. Because Chanyeol never hid things from him before.
And this time he felt that his mate was keeping a lot of secrets from him.

Seeing his agitated brother-in-law, Jimin went beside the blonde vampire and wrapped his arm around his shoulder.

Jimin himself was worried seeing his elder brother behave in an odd way. Not only his brother, but his would-be mate too.

Yoongi kept his poker face since the moment he heard the news. But Jimin could clearly feel the nervousness and anger that was boiling out of him.

The way Yoongi gripped Jimin's hand that moment or the way Yoongi placed a hard kiss on Jimin's forehead before going with his brother to discuss matters at hand; confirmed that the Lord of the Min along with his brother were not only worried but agitated too.

From the corner of his eyes Jimin noticed that his human friend had his arms wrapped around himself and was trying to stay calm by taking deep breaths.

What shocked the Young master of the Park was not how Taehyung was trying to calm himself down.
But how his other friend, who had his arm wrapped around the brunette's waist, while placing his lips on Taehyung's head now and then to help him calm.

Jimin had a feeling that these two might get together sometime in the future, seeing the way they both were crushing on each other, but he didn't expected it to be this soon.

Then it clicked him.
He forgot to ask Yoongi about the scent. The way Jungkook mentioned Taehyung's scent helping him to calm or vice versa for the human.

After a couple of hours, which felt like an eternity to the four who were waiting, the two Lords came out of the work room.

Chanyeol quietly suggested that it was late enough and they should eat first.

When Baekhyun tried to ask what was wrong, Chanyeol only gave him a tight soft smile nodding and telling him that it was nothing.

After finishing their breakfast, all six of them stayed seated at the breakfast table.
