Jaemin stared at the time on his phone. It's almost been a half hour since the older left to get their food and Jaemin was getting worried.
Jeno had left his cellphone on the coffee table and Jaemin cursed at how stupid he was for leaving it behind.
Jaemin decided to stop waiting and go look for him. He slipped on his shoes while his phone was in the pocket of his shorts.
Jaemin hastily made his way out the door and down the stairs of the apartment complex.
He swung the main doors open as soon as he reached the main floor and stepped outside, looking around for any signs of the older.
There he saw Jeno, hugging some other person. Jaemin felt an ache pang in his chest.
Should he go over to them?
Should he just leave them be?
He clearly has someone else he loves, so why should Jaemin stay?
Just as he was about to turn around, the other person Jeno was hugging had noticed him staring.
The person pulled away, wiping his tears, and tapped Jeno's shoulder to turn around. And he did so.
He was met with Jaemin's broken face and it hurt the older to see him like that.
"Nana, why are you out here? It's too dark and dangerous. I-"
"It's almost been forty five minutes. What was I to do?" Jaemin spat, tears threatening to fall.
Jeno stepped towards Jaemin only for the younger to take a step back.
"I'm sorry, Nana. I-"
"You should've brought your phone, idiot. I was worried. Now, go take care of your boyfriend, I'll be going back up to get my things," Jaemin said flatly and turned around.
"It isn't what it looks like!" The person Jeno was hugging not too long ago yelled out for Jaemin to hear.
Jaemin stopped in his tracks and turned around with a pained smile on his face. He only nodded and continued walking back up, Jeno calling him.
Once he was out of sigh, Jeno grabbed his head in frustration.
"I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause you two a problem," the person had apologized.
He felt so guilty for causing the fight between Jeno and Jaemin.
"It's not your fault, Hyuck. I'll fix this, but for now, you have to fix yours and Mark's relationship, okay? He loves you so much. You're all he talks about. Just because you guys had a huge fight doesn't mean otherwise. You're his world and I should know because he won't shut up about it," Jeno chuckled a little.
"I'll speak with him tonight, if he comes home," Donghyuck responded with a slight smile and Jeno nodded, flashing his eye smile.
"He will. Just be patient with each other. You two just need communication. Everything will be okay." Jeno assured the younger.
"Thank you, Jeno." Donghyuck hugged Jeno one last time before leaving to his apartment.
Jeno sighed deeply, he held the pizza box which the food was probably cold by now, and brought it up to his apartment.
Jeno made it up to his apartment quickly, not wanting Jaemin to leave.
Once he opened the door, Jaemin was getting ready to step out. He pushes himself inside with Jaemin along with him and set the pizza box on the table.
"H-hey! Let me go." Jaemin struggled to release himself from Jeno's grip on his wrist.
"We need to talk," Jeno firmly said, staring into Jaemin's eyes intensely, making chills run through Jaemin's spine.
"L-let me go first, please," Jaemin whimpered and the older let him go.
