THE SUN'S RAYS SHONE THROUGH THE WINDOW PANES, projecting a gentle, golden light onto maeve's freckled face. "psst," hermione whispered, placing a few soft kisses on her nose and cheeks.
"...hm?" maeve murmured, yawning groggily as she tried to lean up. "morning."
"morning, my love."
the foster girl groaned, rubbing her temples. "fuck, i've got a pounding headache. did i drink or something, yesterday?"
"yeah... you did, last night, after the quidditch game."
"—oh yeah," maeve rubbed her forehead tiredly. "i remember. there was a party, right?"
hermione nodded slowly. "and you- you kinda drank a lot, and you punched cormac."
the blonde snorted a little bit, before lying back down against the pillows.
